About to sell my 2022 Stinger GT and get into a 2008+ C6. I had a 2014 5.0 mustang before the stinger and getting out of a v8 into a turbo v6 korean car is the worst mistake ive ever made. The car is great dont get me wrong and can make 480-500 whp and 550+ torque very easy. starts making peak torque at 1300 rpm and is easy to drive fast, its just not the same. I dont have the "connection" with this car that I did with my mustang. Hopefully selling the Stinger this saturday.
@@brandinbrown4445 Sold the Stinger, so I test drove a 2008 auto vette and did not like it. It was smooth but just felt like it had no soul, I was really set on getting a manual. I couldnt find any with the tr6060 trans anywhere close to me that wasn't an absolute rip off so I ended up with a 2001 camaro, 6 speed manual, t tops and only 70k miles. I currently have a pile of parts sitting in my house for it including a new full exhaust. Just been too cold to work on it. Im going to be doing ported 243 heads and a stage 4 btr cam this spring! Should make around 450 whp after I do those mods and throw a fast 102 intake manifold on it
You need to get a Dragy GPS btw. For $149 it adds a ton of fun content. Being able to see how much you gain from mods etc. For example secondary cat deletes on my Stinger dropped my 60-130 mph time by over half a second which is huge.
Not being able to lug the engine at 1,000 rpm would bother me lol that's why I haven't done a cam. Sounds great though. I'm currently throwing all my money at paying off the Vettes and my bike then we are saving for a bit and buying a manufactured home, quitting our jobs and moving to the rez lol. My fiance has land out there. I might supercharge the Z06 somewhere in there. Oh I bought a nice C4 lol. But yea sounds great I bet it pulls good up top.
Yeah I'm not the type to get annoyed by that haha. We'll have to cruise once it gets cooler and I don't feel like I'm beating the piss outta the car in the heat! Your fiance may get some nice benefits moving onto the rez and buying a home, but if you guys wanted a second opinion I'm a mortgage Loan Officer and would be happy to assist!
@@CamMarz We want to be in northern AZ away from everyone, working part time and enjoying life so moving up there is the whole point, not just a way to get a home. But if you want to help us on the home that would be cool. I'm not sure if it's going to be a mortgage loan or like a chattel loan though. It will be on property that's in her name but no permanent foundation.

The BTR stage 2 gives you the lope/sound but doesn't sacrifice the driveability. If your not chasing numbers it's worth it.
