Of all BRAVE ONES I've never, ever seen a TRIBUTE to one's died fighting a fire... I'm touched!! 🤙🛐🎆 In our little town we had fires coming in 3 ways... over 1,000 FIREFIGHTERS saved us & homes. Two died & 1 was badly injured... I've respected them (& all others) so much ever since. Thank ~ You for what you all do!!

I'd rather call you ANGELES! You risk your lives to save PEOPLE, there homes, etc. But you also are willing to DIE to save the homes of ANIMALS... Witch is NATURE. One dry, hot summer, my home town had fire on 3 sides coming in towards us. Scary!! A little town in Wyoming with maybe 3,000 people. Over 1,000 ANGELES (also known as FIREFIGHTERS) came to save our LIVES, HOMES, BUSINESSES & "our" Park... HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK. Three ANGELS (men) lost their lives... takes my breath away even know. Our town was saved because of ANGELS fought a horrible war. THANK ~ YOU ANGELS... GOD ALWAYS BE WITH YOU!!

I've fought "forest fires" in the southeast, but *nothing close* to what y'all have out there. You guys are straight up Beasts. I can't imagine hiking in/out in that terrain, humping all the gear - much less working the line 18/24/36 hours straight.

I want this so bad. This is my dream. I’ve never been more passionate about something. I love fire, I love nature, I love hard work, I love doing good. I recently got a job in the tree business (been in and out of it since 16) I may not be doing this soon but boy will I get there. I’ve never been more certain about what I wanna do as a career until now. Much love from Gilbert, AZ. I can’t wait to help out there.

I remember rangers taking off to fight fires while they supervised our trips in Colorado with the American hiking society when i was 16. I was star struck with them. Brave, a bit of crazy and physically fit they were everything i aspired to be. I ended up joining the military instead and retire in 9 months but i still dream of joining their ranks. Too busted up and worn out though. I will always admire and look up to their energy and courage. Amazing people. All of them
