Has the headlight ever been replaced? It's possible that has an aftermarket unit that doesn't have the Auto Adjusters but that seems unlikely It's possible the motor went bad, scan it with vcds and see if you can cycle the motors up and down. One of the adjusters could be broken Otherwise it's probably a wiring issue

Yes because you're working with exposed wires and it would be very easy to create a short and cause more problems definitely disconnect the battery

Being a pre-facelift I have the bigger bumper car style airbag so I just bought a steering wheel that used the same airbag. I'm also decently Frugal so I shopped by price LOL Just buy a facelift s3, RS3 Etc steering wheel.

I only repaired the ones that were broken, getting to the wires was technically the hardest part making the splice was easy

@ezgirlitsni if you have an A3 sedan it'll be in the same spot that I show in the video. You'll physically have to look at them.

I would just punch the part number for the front one into either Google or eBay, being that these cars are built on shared platforms hardly any of the parts are rare or too expensive. Sounds like a good plan

Bro I used cloth hanger. The metal one and tied it like it’s holding an engine lol. It worked but I wouldn’t recommend it, the car gets confused sometimes. Btw (Porsche Cayenne 2008)

If you got rear-ended I would imagine that you might have broken a wire in the trunk somewhere, or it put tension on the harness and caused a fault

@@96ej the shock was at the front left side I had the headlight broken, bumper lightly damaged, one radar detector broken and a bent front left wing. The AFS light came up a month after the shock for like a week it disappeared then reappeared and since it is permanent even with the repairs done, I asked the garage who did the repair and they have been playing blame game's that I have an electric problem but it did not exist before the accident and everything was functioning normal. Note we had rains during the period the car was waiting to be repaired

My engine was moving a lot on launches. So I upgraded two or more solid style mount. It's hard to say exactly which mount it is on yours, I would normally get suspension but because you say it doesn't when you start the car up that the rear torque Mount has gone bad. I would have a friend started while you watch it to try and figure out what's moving the most, or just stick your phone down there and get a good visual on the rubber

@@96ej Yes, when I start the car I hear that sound (knock), also when I quickly release the clutch several times forward or backward then that sound is heard. When driving at low speeds up to 20 km/h. The suspension is good, says the master. But the knocking stops, sometimes even on a straight road when I'm driving. I suspect the upper right mount like in your video, because you can hear that knocking from the front right side. I noticed that the engine has sagged a bit on that mount, when I take a screwdriver and try to lift it, I see cracks in the rubber. I don't know if it should be like that. What engine mount did you think it should be replaced with? How do I check?

@@fahirredzovic962 you're a 1.4 gas engine correct? You can get the mounts like I have or try some powerflex inserts or just get an oem mount

@@96ej That my engine runs fine. It's not an engine problem. Already some knocking on small holes, on uneven roads, on speed bumps, when the engine is started, I hear the same sound for the same second. This sound is also heard when releasing the clutch in quick succession forward or backward. Some knocking on front right side. Do you have an e-mail address so that I can send you a video of the mount so that you can see if it is for the female or not? Maybe you have an idea what else could be heard?

@@fahirredzovic962 I got that man, I was asking because if it was diesel I was going to say get an oem out if it's gas I was going to say you can get away with a solid mount It's really hard to diagnose stuff without just taking the car for a drive and looking at it in person Anyways, good luck man it sounds like you're going to get it figured out

The drain hose slips over a plastic fitting that attaches to the sunroof and I'm going to guess that those have slipped off or aren't tight as they need to be

i looked it up when i originally installed, i believe it was 90 ft/lbs but please double check that, it's been a while since i installed it.

it's possible but not likely, there's no reason he/she would need to mess with this for a simple wheel change

@@96ej luckily on mine, the cable was just loose on the back of the head unit(stereo), behind the glove box. (8 7/10mm bolts removed to gently drop it down, bc you NEVER want to disconnect the knee air bag plug, lol, and then 2 more bolts for the radio/brain. Thanks for replying

Nevermind. If you try to disconnect the battery in hopes that it will fix your camera. Don't bother. :) Only way to fix it is by fixing the wires per the video. Will fix this weekend.

@96ej it's been a few weeks and working perfectly. I went with solder option with heat shrink.

i would imagine it's the camera it's self, mine was either working clear as day or not at all

I managed too make a rear bracket and made a tie rod the front one I had too buy brand new because plastic arm broke

No you don't have to buy it from them to use their Tunes but you do have to buy their Tunes from them. If you're buying a used one just make sure it's unmarried and the correct one for your car

Oh man that sucks! I didn't show it in the video but I popped off the c-pillar so I can feel the brush going through. I pretty much live in the forest so mine need cleaned every other year

I read somewhere else (after I mucked mine up using gardening wire) that using a strimmer / whipper snipper plastic cord is safer to use, but when I tried that to try & find the rear drain hole (hoping the cord would pop out so I can see where to temporarily seal the rear drain at the sunroof level) the damn strimmer cord then got stuck some in the gubbins 😫
