This is so uplifting
What a beautiful channel and series. It is so nice that I’m not the only one who wants to learn and interact with fellow history seekers.
Thank you for this channel and these videos! 🎉❤

🇺🇸 🇵🇭oo nga, po! 🇵🇭 🇺🇸
🇺🇸 🇵🇭 Maraming Salamat, Kuya 🇵🇭 🇺🇸 I had the goal to visit the Philippines in 2020 (the year I turned 40) but the world shutdown🚫 ✈ I too, was told about the risk of getting kidnapped growing up in SoCal
Time to come home!
I believe there might be a mistake. The first group to discover the Philippines were the Aeta people. They are similar in appearance to Africans, with dark skin, short stature, flat noses, and curly hair. Their belief system centers around Mother Nature. They are thought to have reached the Philippines via a land bridge. The second group to discover the Philippines were the Malays, who were part of the Austronesian peoples. They also introduced Islam to the country.
the episode doesn’t claim austronesians are the first 😉 what we’re saying is that our austronesian ancestors populated the entirety of the archipelago, unimpeded by water, hence why almost every Filipino has austronesian ancestry and culture. On the other hand, every Aeta is a Filipino, but most Filipinos aren’t Aeta.
@thefilipinostudio I agree with you on most points; 1:13 however, I respectfully disagree, our first ancestors were the Aetas.
Not quite sure what we’re disagreeing on, once again, it says “one of our first” not “our first.” But it seems like you’ve changed your stand! Originally, it was that the first Filipinos were the Aetas, which we can agree on. But now you’re saying our first ancestors are the Aetas, which is completely different. Not all Filipinos are descended from Aetas. Are the majority of Americans descended from Native Americans?
Where can I buy the book? It’s over $500 on Amazon. That can’t be right. Any suggestions?
❤️
How can be part of that boat😊
This just wants to make me feel to share my story too. This explains why I have been missing something in Belgium grewing up as a Half Filipina half Belgian. I never knew I was so connected to the Philippines till I experienced the Philippines for the first at age 22. I was captivated by the connectivity straight away when I got of the airplane. However when I got back I suppressed it again until I returned 5 times more. Then it became clear that I was avoiding the pain. Belgium is more like an individiualistic country so I never got to experience that sense of connection like in the Philippines. This story makes me understand myself in a new way. I feel like I will be able to find the perfect combination if I balance both energies out within myself. Somehow I believe I am born in Belgium so I could spread awareness about how beautiful Filipino culture really is.
mabuhay kayo at salamat po dito!
Where can I find the book, Kapwa: The Self in the Other?
I am impressed by this episode. Ang husay po, very clear and concise. Congratulations po!
Count me in! I am a Filipino.
Thank you so much for this!
Oh, I was surprised by the turning the shoe lasts into art. I thought the shoe factories were going to be reopened! Anyone know why why that wasn't chosen?
Amazing!
Love it. Thank you!
Awesome. Thank you for this.
I believe the real reason that Christmas starts in the “ber” months because more than 80% of Filipinos are Christians. I love the video!
These videos are amazing!

I just discovered your great channel, and I am so proud to be a Filipino wherever I travel and meet any nationality around the world. Keep that spirit Sir. God bless you, your family and your team. 👏🙏💖

Ang galing ng explanation; malinaw, madaling maunawaa, at tunay na lumutang ang totoong pagkatao ng mga Pilipino.
The leaders, it's politicians and leaders are the greatest threat in the country not it's citizens.
Wow! projectHulmahan is an awesome initiative. And yes, The Filipino Story should e seen by us and by others. It should be included in the school curriculum. Calling DepEd!
Mabuhay ang may pusong Filipino!
❤
Kahit mahirap Kang mahalin Pilipinas Ikaw p din ang pipiliin ko
I will surely share this to my students here in Chile. <3
"We are one people, on the same journey, on the same boat." A Filipino in Chile right now. Crying my heart out with pride of being a Filipino. This is worth watching and sharing. Thank you for creating this wonderful video. Mabuhay tayong mga Pilipino! <3
Bye heart., mind and spirit I feel, thanks and Believe I am a Filipina whenever, wherever and whatever place I've been, worked, loved and lived during my 73 years of my earthly existence always aware and prouf of my roots and extensión of my being sharing and serving my loved ones, countrymen and fellowmen as I love God! Almighty thru His Grace, blessings, gifts, talents, knowledge, knowhow and wisdom!
Sama ako. Ambag ako.
A daunting challenge for us as a people, having such a beautiful past but had faced adversity after adversity till now. May your vision, passion, and courage never waver onwards 🙏

I just discovered your channel while I am scrolling down all the vlogs in YT. That was the episode wherein you revealed to us why you hated being a Filipino growing up and how you came to be accept your heritage and be proud of it. This is the third episode that I’ve watched. Every episode I watch, I send to my friends here in the US and tell them to let their grandkids, out even their grown-up children, to watch and learn something about their heritage. I am happy I found your channel and I thank your for coming up this this kind of content. Your episodes help us learn to love more and more our being Filipinos.
