    Great repair love to hear the customers moan when it comes to the cost as they all want this type of diagnosis for nothing

    It appears that, as the vehicle gets older, there is more likelihood of electrical faults, especially the Green Crusties. A fault within the loom is particularly difficult to find unless you have access to the wiring diagrams and understand them (which you obviously do!) Another great fix showing the benefit of not changing parts unless properly diagnosed. Thanks

    Great video Gary. Some logical thinking on the supply, signal and grounds checks. A good reminder on basics and consulting the diagrams. I've been using your excellent work and Mechanic Mindset to try keep my knowledge up (no longer active in workshop) 😉Very much appreciated.
    BTW, the video was only showing as 240p, so some of the images didn't show too well. Maybe TH-cam limiting the upload ?

    Brilliant content, that just goes to show how many mechanics that are out there taking peoples money and the only know how they have is to fit a new part, without ever getting close to fixing the original problem. Anyway you can upload your videos in a higher resolution than 240? Just subscribed. 👍

    Just found your channel, totally love the content.
    Troubleshooting is almost an artform.
    Will be watching more but I'd hope you can increase the video quality/ resolution for future videos. The fine details get muddy and are a struggle to see.

    great diag but how do you estimate for a job like this a lot of customers want to know how much before you start

    Nice repair Gary. It’s still quite hard to believe but not surprising that this van has been to 2 garages and both weren’t capable of running some fairly basic tests for a 5v & Earth to begin with, more training required for technicians nowadays is a must. Keep up with technology or they’ll be left behind

    Awesome tenacity Gary. Quite a bit of dismantling to pin that one down. One could be forgiven for thinking that a splice inside that box would be well protected from the elements but it just shows you nowhere is safe from the green rot. Would you mind sharing where you got that wire piercing probe; looks very handy that one?

    • @intelligentauto737
      @intelligentauto737  ปีที่แล้ว

      I buy those probes off eBay, you get about 10 for £3

    Just subscribed to your channel and was impressed with the content. I am from the Bahamas and we as a country regularly import Nissan cars etc Note E11/E12 RHD but fixing them properly is a challenge because of lack of information schematics etc . I saw you had an E12 and was wondering what source you use for the schematics for that car? Thanks in advance
