Australia
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 11 ม.ค. 2020
Welcome to the Mudpie Caviar channel! Glad you could make it.
I'm over here making videos of the things I love, which is mainly Loud motorcycles and Loud guitars. The area of Far Northern Queensland where I live in Australia is truly spectacular, so its motorcyclists heaven, long winding roads and mountain twisties...and some of the best beaches in the world.
Check it out, hope you enjoy!

The time I toured with Motley Crue and Motorhead. A Softail Street Bob confessional.
The year was 2007, it was the red, white and crue world tour featuring Motley Crue, Motorhead and Mudpie Caviar.
My band supported these legends of rock for the Australian leg of the world tour.
Such parties! Such debauchery! So many good memories. Join me on my streetbob as I barely remember what an amazing time I had in my 20's, when anything was possible and barely anything got done.

FXBB Softail Street Bob | Endless Highway
มุมมอง 6393 ปีที่แล้ว
Road Trippin to the Far Northern Queensland town of Cooktown on the StreetBob. Amazing roads, wide open spaces, deserted beaches and a cool old Biker bar called the Lions Den Hotel. I love these longer road trips and plan to do a lot more travelling when we are all able to move around more. Thanks for watching! Music by Lobo Loco "Good Boy".

After 6000kms on the saddlemen step up seat, I can give my honest and unbiased opinion on this seat. Such an important and easy mod for your bike and it can make a massive difference to your endurance on the road!

I can't wait to head off on some longer trips with the bike loaded up for travel. This ride was about 6 hours non stop, with so many amazing scenes along the way. Such a beautiful part of the world. Akin Moto Ghost Motorcycle gloves - first impressions ride and review

My first impressions of Akin Moto's mx style summer glove known as the "Ghost'. Living in the wet tropics area of far north QLD, I needed a glove that would handle the heat and humidity of this area. I think Akin Moto have produced a great quality and great value glove right here in QLD. akinmoto.com/products/ghost-motorcycle-gloves Motorcycles: 1988 Yamaha SR400 2020 Harley Davidson Softail St...

2021 Harley Softail Street Bob 114 VS 2022 Indian Chief Bobber Darkhorse
มุมมอง 18K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Edit: Since this video was published the Indian's price went up to $27,500 AUD (from $25,499AUD) compared to the Harley $23,995 AUD. A considerable difference which makes this comparison a little unfair perhaps. All in all they are still very well matched! Two new bikes to hit the middleweight cruiser market have really piqued my interest recently. The StreetBob 114 and the Indian Chief Bobber ...
Historic Harley Davidson - Sportster X Cafe Racer - Meet the XLCR 1000
มุมมอง 2.6K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Let's take a look back all the way to 1977, when Harley Davidson released their ill fated Cafe Racer : the XLCR 1000. Reputed to be Willie G Davidsons personal bike, it was a beautiful bike with all the style and coolness of the late 70's custom era. It was a fascinating time in Harley's history, when the diversity of the motorcycles was at its peak. Music by www.bensound.com
2021 Harley Davidson Street Bob 114 |. The best Softail?
มุมมอง 7K3 ปีที่แล้ว
As a lover of all things street bob, I was stoked to see the 2021 line up included the FXBBS 114! This bike will no doubt be a blast to ride, and in my opinion is now the greatest of the softails! If only i waited one more year!😂 No, I love my 107 street bob, but this is a very exciting new offering from Harley Davidson, and I look forward to whats coming up. Thanks for watching, Mudpie Caviar....
Harley Softail Street Bob #10 | How a crash made me a better motorcycle rider
มุมมอง 6213 ปีที่แล้ว
A trip down memory lane... to the crash I had on my first ever motorcycle. It was a second hand 2002 Yamaha xvs 400 Dragster and I loved it. Of course after the crash it was totalled. In this video I discuss what I learned from that experience and how I can avoid such calamities in the future! Thanks for watching Mudpie Caviar. Music from : www.bensound.com
Harley Softail Street Bob - T Bars VS Ape Hangers
มุมมอง 24K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Lets discuss the age old question - T Bars or Ape Hangers? Two very cool ways to change your bike's handling, looks and feel. I'm in the process of searching the universe for the perfect set of bars for my 2020 Harley Davidson Softail Street Bob and this video is me thinking out loud about the choices I have. Which do you prefer? What are you running on your bike? Let me know in the comments an...

As a swede i must say that i love the hat
Swedish Rock is the Best!!
That relationship is deeper with a wee 2010 FXDB like mine . I get you.
My goal is long distance, so I guess I will go ape hangers for my low rider s
Can’t go wrong with a saddleman seat over the standard one, chose the renegade and it’s sooooooo comfy.
I dropped my 23 street bob the first day I got it in my garage due to that pos kickstand l was very lucky didn’t dent or scratch anything or break anything, definitely always being extra careful every time I put it down now.
I have a similar build but I'm older and have a gut. I love the cruiser type sitting position but get a sore butt after a couple of hours, how is this? BTW, the "locals" are really cool out there - if you get stuck a 4WD of them will probably show up out of nowhere. (To non-Ausssies, I mean bush-dwelling Aborigines.)
Justice bought 1
Would you say you can start out on this bike?
Literally all of the things I noticed on my test ride
Bought a Chief Bobber because looks more Bobber than the Street Bob and better looking
Riding a Street Bob and talking about a Chief Bobber, that is 7 minutes waisted
What made you pick the Bob over other Harley’s?
Its not a sportser FYI
250 degrees.....is that Fahrenheit or Centigrade?
I picked up new 22 streetbob 114 4 weeks ago ,can't wait ride spring time, got great deal $11,500
The XLCR you show from Black Rain was a cheesy, poorly done fake. I have owned two XLCR, a 77 and a 78. I just sold the 78. The 77 I recently tore down to the crank and back out. I built a restomod,, and blacker than the original. First over pistons, Andrews cams, electronic ignition, Ru$$el drilled rotors, stainless brake lines, Progressive suspension front and rear, blacked out turn signals, kickstand, handlebars, and custom black very, very nice paint. It took BEST OF SHOW it's first time out.
Cafe racer was my favorite sportster, if they made a modern version it would be the only hd I would buy
Thank you for this. The XLCR is a cycle that I hold in real affection, both for pure style and performance, and regard as a "rose on the s***-heap" of the bad old AMF years. I would love to get one of these and would fully back HD in re-releasing the model in a style as close to the original as reasonably possible. Just dump the AMF manufacturing protocol and we should be okay.
I wonder what the considerations are for single disc vs two as a manufacturer. Cost per unit? Handling of particular models?
I'll be 68 in a couple of days, I actually bought the 1978 model off a friend in 1979 with only 1000 miles on it for $2800.00, I was 24 back then. I kept it till 1983, lost my job and sold it for $1700.00 it makes me sick I had to get rid of it.
Mouth watering. ❤
I'm still on my Ps... but at the moment I'm looking at Scout Bobber, Street Bob 114 and Chief Bobber Darkhorse... and can't decide.
I'm not a fan of the T bar look, but I'm gonna give them a try. i miss my drag bars but hate being hunched over, so T bars is the next best thing. I have 16" meathooks with 4" risers now, thats how my bike came, its a bit to tall on long rides and I dont feel like i have as much control. I'm hoping that i fall in love with the T Bar feel!
I loved the XLCR when it came out from the first one I saw in San Francisco. I wish I had one today. It was awesome seeing one in Black Rain in the theater with Michael Douglas.
Hi mate, a big shout to you Bro and i hope all is well in beautiful Australia for you. . I still have my streetbob and hope you are still enjoying yours. Keep well and ride safe my friend. See you next time. Kind regards.
Good video forsure. Kick stand is ass, seat is super ass. Mid controls are also another thing that need changed almost immediately. Don't know if this was just my bike or if others have had the issue, but I blew a fork seal sub 3,000 miles which is insane for casual riding.
The video and the voice over are WAY off. The narrator isn’t even talking about the bike being ridden. Also, the bobber doesn’t have the 19” mag wheel. Do some research first!!!!
Yeah I thought it was a riding comparison. The whole “watch b-roll of my ride while I ramble about life” videos are entertaining for 2minutes.
This voice sounds a lot like another youtuber...
20 softail here. Bought 2 weeks ago with 102 miles. I have a metal gas cap fyi. I like what you've done with yours. Had a ton of bikes in 62 yrs, this is my favorite by a mile. Gobs of power, eats up the bumps and not a lot of fluff. Fwd controls went on 1st week, $550 and 2 hrs to install. Be safe brother.
I m getting my forward controls on this week
@@budredden818 knees will be thanking you. Ride safe brother.
Good choice, bought the 20 softail standard 2 weeks ago with 100 miles on it. Rides so smooth with gobs of power. Digging that low sissy bar my friend. Best bike I've owned.
Both expensive!! Off to the second hand market for me hahaha
NICE !!! but , a Sportster 1200 is way faster than a Street Bob....?
Nice vlog. I have the same bike and I have been looking for a detachable sissybar for storage. What kind of sissybar is mounted on your bike?
Yes, thats about the only one I'd buy, thanks a lot!!!
Are you serious about not swimming because of the Crocs? I've heard about Salty's, are they that common on that Beach to the point where you can't swim there ? Just curious cuz this subject Fascinates me.... Would go There Just to get a shot at seeing one ❕ Beautiful Country - I've wanted visit there my whole life - The Road Warrior is a SACRED MOVIE in my House 🤘🤘❗ Not to Mention The Beaches, The Babes, The Beer !!!! I Digress..... Anyway , Nice Bike... I bought a 2021 Street Bob and put on a Saddleman seat... LIFE CHANGING BROTHER 👌. SO much Better than Stock - One of the Best things I did to the bike. Take Care Man -Cool Video .
Cool SR! I only wish we’d received the SR between 1982 and its return to the USA in 2014. They’re not very common here. I’d love to pick one up.
Change the brake pads to EBC semi sintered pads. Mucho better than factory. I worked for a dealership for 18 years. I recently bought a 2022 FXBBS and basically I really like the bike. Just a couple things to dial it in for me. Thanks for the review
I'm from Florida so I'm used to having some great beaches. But man, that area is amazing! Hopefully I'll get to make my way over there at least once in my lifetime
I have drag bars and risers on my 2020 Softail Standard.
Great video! Thanks for taking us on a short tour of Queensland. It reminds me a bit of the Big Bend region of Texas. Ride safe!
Bikes are pretty equal in my opinion, but When it comes to customer service, Harley has Indian beat by a long shot in my experiwnce
I’ve got a Spruce 2020 Streetbob, stage 1, Hollywood bars, had it two years now and covered 25k. Rode from Uk 🇬🇧 to Naples last year and returned via Switzerland 🇨🇭………..bike performed effortlessly with zero issues.
Wow, that sounds like a beautiful trip! Would love to ride through Europe and UK 😎
💯👍
Great video and very fair points! Just came across your channel and I'm happy to support you and other fellow motovloggers. Keep up the great work and ride safe out there 💯👍
All Harley need to do is to put the cruise control on all the softtail models and keep the price same as now, Harley will win.
I don't know if you're still reading these comments but that kickstand falls over just a little extra into a locked position so your bike won't fall over forward if you look underneath you'll see it's notched for that reason
They did try it again, sorta, when they released the Sportster xl1200cx recently. I have a 2020 model and they made a cafe kit for it with clip-ons and fairing. Has better suspension, inverted forks and dual discs in front. Higher ride height and mid controls for more lean angle. Unfortunately it was discontinued, probably didn’t sell that well… again. Bummer.
got myself a 2018 sr400 as my first bike and I absolutely love it. got it with nearly 6k miles and added 2k more so far this year. I love kicking it alive every time, that's 60% the reason I got it
Indian Scout was my dream bike. I bought it. I loved it. Until UK winter came. ABS was almost non existent, really an afterthought, the light would always be popping up. The bike wouldn't start in winter if it was below zero. I bought a new battery. I bought a fancy charger. Then the clutch went. I almost cried selling it but I had to. I still would love an Indian, but will be getting a Harley-Davidson.
