- Five months and 5000 kilometres later, the street bob is better than ever. I'm really enjoying the process of slowly making this bike my own and have zero regrets with my choice of ride!

I love my street bob. I've done minor mods, and always get compliments about the bike.
It’s an awesome bike. Ride safe!
That seat was the best mod I’ve made such an amazing motorcycle
@@gennadiygusarov6082 agreed. I went with a saddlemen solo, that and bars has made the bike so comfortable
Totally agree, I love that saddlemen🤘
Yeah, wonderful weather for your ride!
Have a great time! Lobo
Thanks Lobo! Do you ride yourself?
No I'am to afraid, but I even like to watch it.
;-)
I've had my 2018 Street Bob for nearly a year and I love it. It has V&H Short Shots, Heavy Breather and I've also bought HD's Bevel seat and a Saddlemen Ultimate Comfort seat for her. The different seats completely change the look and style of the bike. 3 bikes in one!
So good! It’s a versatile bike isn’t it? Glad you’re loving the bike. I can’t wait to get mine up to stage 1. Thanks Rory!
yeah buddy, The street bob is pretty sweet !
Haha! Yeah it is! Thanks man 🙌
I also put a HD windshield on ,makes a great difference , no wind buffeting at highway speeds.
I’m thinking about a windshield, most of my riding is at highway speeds so it would be great. Thanks!
I’m right there with you. Did cosmetics mainly on mine, LEDs all around, derby and gas cover, seat and rear passenger pegs....I actually haven’t even changed the exhaust on it either which I’ll need to sort out soon but it’s been a dream. That 107 is plenty power and I’m not bothered not having a stage 1 on it yet. I need to hit the highway omw to work and sometimes don’t even realise that I’m pushing 160kmh....And in the city, I might hit a U-Turn and forget that it’s got that instant torque when I gas a little too much lol so I’m just enjoying it at this point. I know it will be a blast too once I get working on the engine!
Totally agree with everything you’re saying. A great bike to ride out of the box. 107 is perfect for me, stage one will be frat but I’m not in a rush. Next in my list is some taller bars so I can sit back a little on the saddlemen step up.
I know what you mean on those U -turns! 😂
Hi mate, great video and love the look of your bike. I’m itching to get out on my one and get some miles on it as we are soon to be out of lock down. I did pop out on it for some essential supplies and found it very tricky to find gears 1 and 2 when down shifting, i hope its just a breaking in thing or a clutch adjustment. I’m sure it’ll get sorted soon enough. Ride safe mate.
Hi man! I had the same issue finding second when downshifting every now and then. I was showing the bike to a mechanic friend of mine and he went over the oil levels and transmission oil ect. We noticed the transmission oil the dealers put in was pretty thin and a bit low. Topped it up with a generic engine oil and it’s been smooth as butter since 👍.
That’s sound advice MC, ill check the levels tomorrow, thank s mate.
All good mate, looking forward to seeing some vids of you on the bike 🙌
Wont be long mate as lock down coming to an end soon here in uk. I did put a very short video up of it if you fancy a look. Kind regards.
What are most FXBB or FXST owners using for a tune to compliment pipes and AF?
I haven’t tuned mine yet as I’m only running slip ons with the stock AF, but I will use Power Vision when the time comes!
I have a carbon fiber arlen ness big sucker with a bassani road rage short ripper 2-1 exhaust. I just went with both Harleys tuners to keep it under warranty. If I didn't care about warranty, id probably get a thundermax honestly
Man, I went one so bloody bad 😭😭😭
It’ll happen!
I still don’t like the kickstand, compared to my old FXR low rider.can’t deploy it when standing ,nearly drop it.
It feels a little sketchy doesn’t it! I’m used to it now, but I always give it a good kick before I hop off the bike!
It was scary at 1st but after 7k miles I got used to it now. It has to much of a lean when you deploy the kick stand
I remember that used to PISS me off but like stated here, I as well after I put on 1k miles on mine got used to it and actually forgot about it 😅
Mine is due its first MOT (UK) roadworthiness check ,plus 5k service Thursday.
Awesome bike, the 107's are plenty powerful 😎
I had the same problem with the step up seat. Having long , gangly arms doesn't help. I loosened and rolled the bars forward about 2 inches, and it fixed the riding position a little. Less stress and fatigue on the wrists and elbows.
Might work for you?
Peace out
Thanks man, yeah I’ll adjust the bars for sure. I’m looking forward to getting some higher bars too!
Love the highway rumble of your Harley. Videos are too short, take it for a longer ride and I can listen to the rumble and your conversation and Dream of my future Softail Standard....lol Subscriber 401.........
One thing you should do is stop the misted oil from the motor breather going into your air filter, it will stop the carbon building up on your pistons and your motor will love you Hash Tag.........Catch Can
Haha! Thanks man, I hope you get your softail standard soon! They are amazing bikes. I love mine more each day 🤘😎🤘. Thanks for subbing and watching
What kind of oil does everyone use in there street bob and how many quarts?
Not really my style of bike but somehow your videos always make me think twice. Maybe some chilled cruising is the way, looking forward to the next one.
😂 If only we could all have 10 different bikes for our different riding moods! I do love the chilled cruising through the landscape though... thanks man!
