    All very good points. Ive ridden both and I think I'm going to go with the T-bars this time. I just bought a 2014 Dyna fat bob and my riding style is very aggressive now days. I've got 25 years under my belt and I feel confident the T-bars are going to look and feel perfect. Especially after listening to what you were saying about it. 👍👍👍

    12 inch Burleigh high balls 11/2 thick. Aussie made, awesome quality. I just fitted some to my 19 fxbb no need to replace any cables or wires👍

      very cool bars! I really like that they are only 30 and 1/2 inches wide. Nice choice!🤘

    Such a complex debate! It also comes down to which style of build you are going for. Ie T bars for club style and apes for bobber/custom look. My previous build was a club style sportsters so for my current 19’ street bob I’m going for that custom/bobber/chopper style look so I just brought a set of 12” DNA monster apes from the states. Hoping to fit them
    This weekend!

      Hell yeah man! Exactly right. For my streetbob I’m going for that bobber / chopper classic look too. The DNA monster apes are what I’ve been thinking too! Super tough bars🤟
      Thanks man 👍

    I'm not a fan of the T bar look, but I'm gonna give them a try. i miss my drag bars but hate being hunched over, so T bars is the next best thing. I have 16" meathooks with 4" risers now, thats how my bike came, its a bit to tall on long rides and I dont feel like i have as much control. I'm hoping that i fall in love with the T Bar feel!

    I fitted 16 inch Burleigh highballs and saddle man renegade solo to my fxbb with forward controls. I can’t ride it lol Anything over 80km or over 2500 rpm ….. I’m holding on with only my hands . Ordered the step up seat, but If it ruins my look, I’ll be forced to go back to mids and t bars

    • @MudpieCaviar
      @MudpieCaviar 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks mate, Have a look at Burleigh Bars in Queensland,they make some great bars. It depends if you’re looking at T bars, or ape hangers or even risers with a mx style bar.
      I’m liking the look of Lucky Dave’s t bars, but they are an American company.
      Good luck, handlebars is tough decision, so many options😂

    How tall are you fam? Im 5’6 and trying to figure out if 10” bars will be good for me at long rides

    • @MudpieCaviar
      @MudpieCaviar 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey man, I’m 5’11 and running a saddlemen step up with the stock 10” mini apes. I will be getting 14” bars soon which should be spot on with the saddlemen which has raised me up a bit. I reckon if you’re going to stay with a seat that is similar to the stock seat the 10-12 inch should be perfect for you. Lucky Dave’s Lucky13s T bars might be perfect. 👍👍👍

    Ape hangers are prohibited here in Singapore and cops get on you if you have one. I have Krause T-bars and handles better than the original mini apes.

    • @MudpieCaviar
      @MudpieCaviar 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What about the mini apes that are stock on the streetbob? Are T bars allowed? Is that because of the cops think you are a criminal 😂

    • @Fletch_Rides
      @Fletch_Rides 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MudpieCaviar Nah it’s coz the registrations stipulate that the wrists must be below shoulder height otherwise no dice. The original mini apes conform to that rule unless you’re a short ass.
