@@MudpieCaviar wish I could do some more, between work and family keeps me riding less then Id like. I ordered some Vance and Hines eliminator 300 slip ons, waiting for them to arrive from US

Fair enough, family will always keep you busy! Those slip ons sound great. I’ve got the rinehart racing slips ons. Love the sound.👍

I myself also experienced a pretty bad crash 3 months ago which almost made me not want to ride anymore. Because at the time it was my only means of transportation, I went to the dealership the next day and that’s when I got my Street Bob. And although I don’t ride it as much as I used to ride my previous baby, and it took me a while to recover from injuries, I’m slowly starting to ride a little bit more and am practicing more slow speed manoeuvres because they do help on the long way just like you said. Hopefully by the time summer comes around i will be back to riding fully with a warmer nicer weather. All that to say, thank you for sharing, it does take time for some and others get right back at it. Best thing you can do is take it as a learning experience and keep your head up. Stay blessed 😊

So true man, it’s important to just take it as it comes. I found that focusing on technique and slow skills really helped get me back to it.
Sorry to hear you had a bad crash, it’s scary for sure. But glad to hear you’re getting back into it. The positives of getting out there with your knees in the breeze is so worth it!
Take care man and be safe 👍

My instructor many yonks ago said that an experience rider is one that had a few spills coz then you would learn not to fall. I agree with you that laying your bike down makes you learn. It helps you to anticipate drivers, ride defensively and read all situations. It’s no fun to lay your bike down but we learn. That’s life. Have safe rides

Yes so true, it is certainly a lesson that you won’t forget!
      Thanks and ride safe 👍

Scary shit!! I’ve been riding for, like 4 days now and absolutely loving it.. but also, definitely worried about crashing hurting myself badly!! Almost makes me not want to ride.. I definitely need practice, if you have any particular practice routines or tips about riding safely! Nonetheless been loving it, going for a ride tomorrow morning and can’t wait!! Cheers for the video man!

Cool man! Don’t be scared. The positives and the great times are totally worth it. The risk is what makes it work it’s magic on you...
I would look up these guys on TH-cam:
      Motojitsu
      Mcrider
      Dan Dan the fireman.
These guys all have excellent content on mastering your bike.
At the end of each of your rides, find a parking lot and practices your slow riding control. Uturns, figure 8s, emergency braking ect. Friction zone and front/rear brake /throttle control.
It will help you connect with your bike and love it all the more.
Check it out and ride safe brother!

Thanks for your support man! It’s certainly a sketchy feeling when that car won’t stop!
But it’s a positive in the long run, cause it keeps us aware and focused. Ride safe! 👍
