Hi John, even though this series is four years old, it still merits feedback. A great course, well presented and of course it does not substitute signing up for some rider training. I studied Roadcraft and took lessons with ROSPA for my car. When I got a motorcycle, I applied the learning to my motorcycle along with reading the Motorcycle Roadcraft Manual. Why do people not take up further training after doing their tests ? I think there are probably many reasons. My first thought would be to ask, how do people become aware of such courses and their value? I know that taking lessons and studying Roadcraft changed me as driver/rider and made both more pleasurable to do, I always enjoy riding and driving now! Interestingly, I became aware of Roadcraft and advanced rider/driver training after being given a summons for doing 32mph in 30 mile zone. I attended a driver awareness course that I found very interesting. Afer the course I stayed behind and spoke with the presenters who suggested I look at ROSPA and Roadcaft. Best thing I ever did ! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, skills and passion for riding!

John, thank you so much for this CBT video series. I wish I had watched these before taking on my CBT last month. I really struggled with slow speed manouvres - I was leaning my body weight into the turns while I was looking round and kept putting my foot down as a result. The instructor did not advise on correct body positioning and as a result I continued to lose the bike into the turns. I was let go before the road portion. I will be trying at a different school when the weather is kinder early next year. The knowledge from these videos has already boosted my confidence and understanding, so really appreciated.

Thank you so much for creating that series! It’s structured so well and the demonstrations really helped me to understand why we need to do certain things and avoid others. Simple things like the pencil on the cooker to demonstrate lean angles and grip! Brilliant. I wish I lived nearer as I’d definitely go for an advanced course with ProScot! Thanks again - awesome 👍

I've just subscribed to your great channel from Derbyshire.England. This channel and yourself have great videos and expert Instruction delivered for the subjects covered in my opinion. I'm 60yrs of age..been riding various bikes since I was 11yrs old. Passed my bike test in 1982. I started a job years ago which involved 300 mile per week commute in all seasons, as a result I wanted to undergo some training did a Bikesafe course in 2014, followed that up with an ERS course 2015, then RoSPA course in 2015 (Gold). Then I did IAM course (F1RST) in 2016. Then followed by ROSPA retest (GOLD) 2018 and another RoSPA retest (GOLD)2021. The right training is so important for potential riders or experienced riders. Really enjoyed your expert advice and films. Many many thanks . 🏍️💨

At 4:00, with a car on the left, I usually move in my lane to the furthest spot from the car (pretty much the middle of the road) because the movement makes the bike more easy to see, and it maximizes the distance just in case. Is that a good strategy or are there any drawbacks to this approach?
