John - what a fantastic resource these videos have become. Even the early CBT work in the yard was a useful reminder. In particular, bringing the bike to a ‘positive stop’ - I had developed a wee issue of fearing dropping the bike when coming to a halt due to my habit of letting the bike almost stop on it’s own, which would often result in the steering falling to one side or the other. That ‘positive stop’ reminder has made a big difference. Thanks.
Many thanks for all your efforts John. And many thanks to Lewis for supporting you throughout. I found these videos more interesting than you could ever imagine. I hope you both get back to work soon and may you and your students, have a enjoyable and safe time ahead. PS; Respect to you for having the ba**s to put these out there. Considering the amount of jobs worth’s you have obviously had to deal with.
I've just subscribed to your great channel from Derbyshire.England. This channel and yourself have great videos and expert Instruction delivered for the subjects covered in my opinion. I'm 60yrs of age..been riding various bikes since I was 11yrs old. Passed my bike test in 1982. I started a job years ago which involved 300 mile per week commute in all seasons, as a result I wanted to undergo some training did a Bikesafe course in 2014, followed that up with an ERS course 2015, then RoSPA course in 2015 (Gold). Then I did IAM course (F1RST) in 2016. Then followed by ROSPA retest (GOLD) 2018 and another RoSPA retest (GOLD)2021. The right training is so important for potential riders or experienced riders. Really enjoyed your expert advice and films. Many many thanks . 🏍️💨
Thanks for a great series of videos. Great instruction & very useful to see Lewis's hands on this video; it helps to understand how fast to 'wring the cloth' during gear change & when/how the front brake is used on the road. ... Watched these videos a good few times over the last couple of months & managed to pass the CBT & theory test this week. ... now working on improving muscle memory to get ready for mod 1 & 2. Thanks again.
Hi guys . Thanks alot for these videos inhave finally watch all 9 ,cbt is in a few days tbh and with zero knowledge of bikes , it's been an education 👍 thank you and good luck for the future,
Thanks for a great set of videos, I had my CBT on Monday and it was great fun. The video tutorials put any fears I had at easy. I look forward to returning to Pro Scot and sitting my full license once I’ve gained a lot more experience on the road. Great job John and Lewis 👍 thanks again.
I am so happy i came across your channel. I am going for my CBT on 9th November and i loved you're videos and i learnt a allot very very informative. Never drove a car or ridden a bike at 46 years old, now time to learn and with the help and study of these videos it will not be long.
Thanks for the inspiration John, thanks to you I have booked my CBT in Chelmsford for 14th September, got all my gear and looking forward to it. Thanks a lot, your videos are extremely useful.
Great set of videos. First CBT booked in a months time as a 45 year old with lots of experience on 4 / 18 wheels. Thanks for being so informative. My daughter lives near your base so if things don’t go well down here in England, I might be inclined to book up there.
At 4:00, with a car on the left, I usually move in my lane to the furthest spot from the car (pretty much the middle of the road) because the movement makes the bike more easy to see, and it maximizes the distance just in case. Is that a good strategy or are there any drawbacks to this approach?

Cheers John, your CBT videos were extremely helpful in preparing for my training. I passed first time with minimal experience on a motorcycle.
