- This is a video series covering all 5 elements in a CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) Course it will help you to learn how to ride a motorcycle. This video covers the fourth element, Element D which covers the on road practical and theory preparation that all rider's need to be aware of and understand to be able to ride safely on the road. The video looks at and covers key areas such as, meeting the legal requirements to ride, attitude, road positioning, safe separation distances. Anticipation and awareness, planning, riding defensively, hazard perception, correct use of speed. The use of mirrors and rear observations, effects of road surface and weather conditions. how to reduce risk and other areas essential to good safe riding out on the road. The video series was produced by John Macdonald from ProScot motorcycle training in Kirkcaldy, Fife Scotland.
Great content, I’m a new rider at 60years of age and there is no videos on TH-cam that are more educational than yours, o appreciate your insights which helps me wake up and move forward with riding.
