I get the investment pieces, especially for frequent travelers. I do more weekend or extended weekend road trips. I do have hope to expand to some air or even train travel, but wouldn't be so often. I also tend to grow tired of some material items and like having more options, or just something newer and fresher. So I tend to gather more bargain type items, but not necessarily cheap. I like a standard of quality, just not necessarily high-end.
The fact that they don't just give two compression straps, rather charge you a fee for this is silly. Considering how much this bag costs to begin with, they should just include it and allow you to remove it you don't need it. I think anything over 200 for carry on is excessive for a carry on.
Haha can you imagine if we didn’t move forward w buying newer styles just cuz we invested in a bag? We’d be schlepping bags like travellers did before wheeled luggage! Luggage gets better and better all time! 🤞 You show us that in your videos!! Thank you!! ❤
That was a little sad to watch, but thank you for testing the durability. As usual, you did a fantastic, thorough review!!! PS: love the haircut on you!
I do enjoy watching you! However, I will still stick to July, level8 … I don’t see the difference except the status … which there will always be. Could you do a review on a soft sided bag, if possible ? Travel pro, Briggs, or Samsonite ?
@thecleaningteacher638 yes and the interesting thing is that they have approved me as an affiliate but won’t answer any emails :-/ I keep trying though!
I love to own that bag. I guess you own bags for the right travel like power tools and kitchen appliances. I would use for domestic travel but too heavy for me for international travel.
I found two bags (affordable vs. high end) that are similar to the Nomad Lane Bento bag that would make a great comparison review: Bagsmart Duffle Overnight bag from Amazon and the Atlas Travel Bag from James Moore NY. These bags have a similar design to the Bento Bag but with slight differences that are interesting! I know you don't want to constantly spend a lot of money on bags, but these two look like they will be great alternative options to the Bento Bag. 😊
Really pointless test….Carry on luggage isn’t subjected to much stress especially if it’s nice as you take care of it. You should be testing the Check in sizes.
Oft times on smaller aircraft one has to gate check carry on luggage. The durability test was very informative and useful for me, imho. Thank you for including that video footage. 😸

The way my jaw hit the floor when you started pancake flipping the suitcase 😂😂
Hahaha
You certainly got your daily workout throwing that bag around! 😂
That dress looks comfy and cute on you.
❤
Right?! Haha and thank you! I bought it for India but it rolled up too big to travel with!

Maybe I should finally use my vintage luggage one day! Haha
Liked the way how you showed how the packing cubes worked, thanks!
You’re welcome!
Great review on many levels!
Looks like you have the Carl Friedrik 72 hour backpack in the background. I look forward to that review.
That was a little sad to watch, but thank you for testing the durability. As usual, you did a fantastic, thorough review!!! PS: love the haircut on you!
Thank you. It was so hard to do 😂
Do they have covers for the luggage? For $500 I’d want a cover.

Those companies never write back when I try, and I would never ever travel with a soft bag, so I don’t think my opinion would be very nice haha
@@ItsTheKellys - noooo! But always honest…
That’s really disappointing that Briggs and TravelPro won’t respond. Honestly, I’m surprised by that. 😳

I'm sort of mixed on it. You know I love your testing. "Abner, she's at it again"
Hello! Lovely review. Have you ever considered reviewing Antler luggage? :)
I actually reached out previously and they declined.
Loved the durability test. What is your honest opinion about CF scratch test against Monos hybrid, Level 8 trunk?
It performed the worst for sure, although I haven’t smashed my level 8 ones yet. Monos hybrid and July hybrid are in the best condition still.
Have you reviewed MVST? I have been on the fence about them, and have seen mixed reviews.
I’ve been in contact now finally! I believe I’ll be getting their new items when they come out
@@ItsTheKellys looking forward to seeing your review. Thanks for the reply.

Maybe eventually :)
Man-I like that double compression but I want the slightly smaller international size.
That would be nice if they had one :) that size is so hard to find in the states
What’s your backpack brand shown on this video??
Lauren, that was PAINFUL! 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂
Nice review. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
What’s a good CF competitor?
My favorite carry on trunks are from Monos and July! Hybrid aluminum trunks with indestructible surfaces (after many trips with them)
Beautiful design. However, in my opinion, I don't think it's worth the cost. Love your reviews! You got a good workout!
💪🏽 haha
Are those latches metal or plastic?
Metal
They should just add those black plastic feet to all sides of the case so that the actual case never (or rarely) touches any surfaces.
Do you have an affiliate code by chance?
Unfortunately, no but feel free to let them know my video was helpful in your purchase if you make one.
Carl Frederick give us protected corners!
Thanks for “busting up” your expensive luggage!
You’re welcome!
I love u
OUCH! 🫣
CUTE Haircut btw! 💜
thank you!
