Jonathan (@MTB_Derbyshire) and his wife were holidaying in Shropshire and lucky him, she was happy for him to take his bike with him and get out on some rides. As such, we chatted about meeting up at Eastridge on Thursday morning; I, however, must have missed the bit where he said to meet at 7am!
So, up I got at 5am, drove down and we had an absolute blast riding the trails, which were running perfect.
I bloody love Eastridge, pretty sure Jonathan does too now

I didn't expect to enjoy this ride. It was sold to me as an XC ride starting with a big climb and then a bit of exploring, some moorland trails and only one descent. Remember when the trails were last dry? I actually struggled to recall, all I could think of was Spain back in February. My mate Tony contacted me on Friday evening about going for a ride so I suggested he headed down from North Lancashire to sample some of North Wales's finest; he was not disappointed.
