- I've been to this place in Shropshire a number of times although haven't visited for over a year. It seems that in my absence, the trail builders have been busy and created a couple of gems.
@HallMarc_Trails and I headed out on a cold and damp morning, choosing to take our hardtails for a laugh. They definitely made things more sketchy...

Good to meet you guys and thanks for keeping locations on the down low! 😁👍🏻
I cleared the top of the pedally track yesterday so you can do it top to bottom now without having to stop 👍🏻😁
Great to meet you too Theo, I am still jealous of the lovely cherry red colour of your P7 (I once spent a fortune getting a 223 resprayed in that colour).
Cheers for the work on the trails, very much appreciated (although that means even more pedalling on that one now 😂).
That new bottom section though, what a trail!
@@Stopadoodledoo I must agree it is a lovely colour! Plus red is always faster 😉😂
Yeah it's my favourite trail in the woods at the moment!
Crazy! Bastards going out on the hard towers in that weather most certainly making a challenging day for yourselves for sure. Looks like you handled t he steep trail quite well. 👍🏽👍🏽
To be honest, it was more challenging on a hardtail than I thought it would be (one track specifically).
The steep one, found that day, looked worse than it was when you rode it; as a trail, it just worked well if you committed and didn’t hesitate 👍
maximum Schnnnnneap Lenny !!! hardtail fistbumpz !! schmurrrrrrrr
You know it Gregory. GnaRRRRRRRRRRRRRR 😂

Ace video of an ace day 😀 great fun on the hardtails, shame our batteries died before our second run down trail of the day 🥲 such a great trail, we found a couple of gems for sure 😀👍🏻
Certainly was mate although not sure I would bother with the pedally one again; I was knackered by the time it actually started to go downhill 😂
Also reckon I would take the Alpine next time; hardtail was way too sketchy on the drop run; we were so out of control 😂
@@Stopadoodledoo I was knackered on the pedally one before I actually missed it going downhill 🤣 so glad we went back up and did it, I’m not sure I will be going the mad step down drop again, even on the full suss 😬 I think the full suss will be a better option though next time 😀👍🏻
@@HallMarc_Trails I had to show you the steep one when I realised you had missed it; what a trail 👍
Excellent video. Always good on a hard tail. Love doing trails like that on my Marin Pine Mountain fatty. Top trails. Cheers from Big Stoozer (New Sub). 🤠
Thanks mate, I do love hardtails (currently have two as I couldn’t bring myself to sell the old one). To be honest, I would rather have been on my full susser on a couple of trails but still had fun 👍
That place, on hardtails!! What is wrong with you both 🙈 Great place there, and like you mentioned before an easy climb for food rewards. Don't blame you for not doing the drop in those conditions! Hardtails there!!! That cherry red hardtail was stunning!
I honestly thought hardtails would be spot on; they were for much of it but a couple of trails, nope 😂
I didn’t get any food rewards 😢
😂😂😂
@@Stopadoodledoo well they got the job mostly done I guess 🤣 Any day on a bike is better than not being on one, whatever bike it is 👍🏻
No food rewards, not even a curly wurly? 😭😂
Great vid mate! So much fun to be had on a hardtail! Looks like a good spot! 👍🤙
Proper good spot this one although with hindsight, not as enjoyable on a hardtail as I thought it would be; way too choppy in places and there was no way I was going to attempt the drop on it as it was skipping all over the place on the run in.
There’s times when full suspension is the sensible option 👍
@@Stopadoodledoo im either to heavy or rubbish but always seem to get a heavy landing when jumping and dropping on my hardtail so tend to avoid it for the most part! 😂
Ive never ridden this spot even though I only live 15mins away, I will have to change that in the next few weeks! Looks like it holds up well with all the wet weather too
Definitely worth a visit mate, some really great trails there. They’re generally short but the climb back up, although long, is easy so you can get a ton of descending in.
Holds up pretty well in the wet, apart from the bottom of one trail which is just evil 😂
Might be able to join you all on one of these hardtail rides soon 😜. Looking good in the new helmet there Jason 😎. Great trails 👍
You've made the right decision for sure mate, not sure if I would recommend this place for a first hardtail ride in years though 😂
I really wanted a white helmet to keep up with what I've been wearing for the last 8 years but I couldn't find a decent MIPS one in that colour. Still, not disappointed 👍
Great vid there bro even tho u had few cam issue's lol . Watch out for them trees lol
We need meet up again soon boys . Cheers for the vid
Cheers mate; cold weather plays havoc with GoPro batteries so I imagine that I’ll be relying on the phone for footage for the foreseeable future.
@@Stopadoodledoo or wait till winters over lol
@@DizRidesMtb sod that, I enjoy winter riding
@@Stopadoodledoo I need a lift still they too busy playing camping n shit lol
Well that's depressing.. my local trail fits well within the 25 minutes recording my camera manages and that's after climbing for an hour and half. I can only dream of needing multiple batteries.
It’s the cold weather (was 3 degrees centigrade when we started), plus the batteries are a few years old now. I managed to get about ten minutes out of each (I have three). In the summer, I can usually get an hour out of each one.
I’m just glad that phone cameras are decent now, even if the audio is a bit rubbish (and that’s with a BOSE microphone plugged into it).
Great ride though, despite the cold. I had the car heater and heated seat on full all the way home 😃
@@Stopadoodledoo Multiple batteries and a car ride home! 😂My version of that is pedalling real fast for a few miles to get home before my hands go so numb that I can't brake or shift anymore. Hoping that when I need an ebike it'll come with a heated seat and grips.
@@donpalmera car ride is essential to ride anywhere decent (thankfully not a long one). As you may notice in any of the videos I make in Chester (the daft, short ones mainly), it’s as flat as a fart in and around the city, with not many trails.
Pesky pine needles!!
They’re very naughty, Tatty 😃👍
