It's also a useful video tool for experienced pilots who want something small and unobtrusive to fly indoors or at unique locations where a larger drone just can't be used....

      Hey thanks for watching! The Nazgul Evo is awesome, you're going to love it! You should setup flight modes on a switch in Betaflight, most people setup a 3-position switch with Air/Acro-Horizon-Angle modes. Once you bind your radio, check that your switches are working in the receiver tab, and if so, assign them in the modes tab.

      @@colibrifpv yes, but it is entirely weldable, and with its aluminum cooler, it is heavy (>16.2 g!) like a 20*20 stack even more!... so I will go for the flywoo AIO I think... it has sockets and is light (9.4 g). the mpu6000, the f7, has more flash and more power. (more expensive too, too much?) so between the two there is the flywoo 20*20 f7 stack, which is lighter too with 13 g (and is more reliable and much stronger than an aio... and cheaper.. without welds except the esc and these pads much better arranged in my opinion.) I am in deep thought.. I am not against welding, but if I can do without it, it is better.. and I prefer stacks. I had seen this AIO, but even the speedybee stack is lighter (13.5g) and at the same price. (with the advantages of a stack of not having to change everything if the ESC dies, it makes the repair expensive especially if I gain nothing with the AIO speedybee neither in weight, nor in quality nor by being obliged to a total soldering (stack speedybee is also all to be soldered)... not to mention that the aio or the stack are f405 not F7 like the flywoo. in any case thank you very much for your feedback, cordially, A.

      Hey my friend, that's awesome that you want to get a 5" drone 🤘 You might want to start with something small until you get more comfortable with the controls though, just because as you learn you will crash, everybody does, and smaller drones are less expensive to replace. If you do want to go with a 5" drone and you don't have much experience building, I would highly recommend the full Joshua Bardwell kit [bit.ly/JBfullkit] because it comes with everything and he has made a series of build videos that walk you through everything from the very beginning, step by step... good luck, let me know how it goes!

      Hey thanks for watching my videos 👍 Since you mentioned that you want to carry a GoPro, I would recommend the Pavo35, it is larger, but is much, MUCH more powerful and capable and will handle the weight of the GoPro better. The only reason to go with the Pavo25V2 is if you want to fly indoors our around people, and you can use a naked GoPro or a GoPro bones. Technically, the Pavo25V2 can carry a full GoPro, but it doesn't fly all that great with that much weight...

      There are several reasons why that could happen, but by any chance, is it plugged in backwards? On my strip the plug was pinned wrong, meaning the red black, etc. did not coincide, so double-check that it's plugged in the right way..... if that doesn't do it, check in Betaflight that the mode it's set to (I think AUX 1) has a switch assigned to it so you can turn it on. Good luck!

      On the Pavo20Pro, you should use the two small antennas that BETAFPV includes in the box. The range and performance is very good, not quite as good as the full-size DJI antenna, but it fits the size and design of the frame much better, I used the DJI antenna and broke from frame in a crash, so now I use the small whip antennas 👍

      @colibrifpv 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey there, thanks for your feedback, glad to have you here! Yes 10" is a good choice because the, larger props are going to be more efficient, allowing you longer flights and higher payload capacity for larger batteries and heavier things like cameras. GEPRC, Sequre, and many other companies offer affordable 10" prebuilt drones, or better yet you can purchase a frame and build it yourself. Your KV is about right for an efficient 10" build. For batteries I would recommend li-ion, 6s2p, with 21700 cells, which should give you around 8,000 mah. You can purchase the cells and build it yourself if you really know what you're doing or you can just buy one from iFlight or GePRC...

Learn to fly there, then take your nano hawk to a gym or park with some open space and practice the basics. @colibrifpv Oh, I get it now! That's why I was so confused. I've seen a bunch of FPV drone videos lately, and a lot of them were recommending Google products over DJI or Fatshark, like those Walksnail goggles. Thanks for the info, man! I'm totally new to this whole FPV drone thing and still trying to figure it all out

      @@a.christydjoko7773 No problem, there is a HUGE learning curve when you're new to the hobby, but it all makes sense after a while. My advice is to join a Facebook group like Beginner to FPV and ask some questions, most pilots are super helpful, and don't be hasty to buy expensive gear until you actually need it. Start with an ELRS radio and download a simulator. After you learn to fly, move on to a tinywhoop or a small digital like this GoFilm 20 or the BetaFPV Pavo20. Good luck!

    I switched to Walksnail from the DJI V2 and O3, and for my needs-mainly a bit of long-range and penetration-I regret it. The stock antennas on the Walksnail are terrible. The focus mode causes the screen to freeze, and it fails constantly. I’m not sure if it’s a bug, but it works horribly. I’ve already lost a drone because of it. I was less than 200 meters away, and everything failed. To be fair, it was with a Pavo Pico with the Moonlight, but the signal went from strong to completely black in an instant. I’m already upgrading the antennas, but I no longer trust my goggles or VTX. I am not switching again to dji, but O3 are sooo good, and O4 will be even better so because I have an air unit I am thinking about buying a googles 2 and use both system.

      @colibrifpv 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I'm sorry to hear about your experience, Walksnail has been pretty rock solid for me, maybe try updating the firmware to the latest, double-check you antenna connections, and then test range and penetration in a safe spot until you feel comfortable again. Also, if you feel like you got a defective unit, Caddx is pretty good about returns and replacements, so you might want to check with them!

    • @atw98
      @atw98 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah I'm not sure that's the Goggle sounds like noise in your build. Since version two the stock antennas regularly do 100km on everyone's Goggle's I know, 10 of us. Plus antennas are the cheapest part of a setup if you're not happy. But I'd work on the wiring of your build make sure you have as much distance or use capacitors to reduce the noise in your wiring. DJI is for the people with no desire to fly and don't want to fly more then 100 metres from themselves. DJI is single handedly responsible for the decline and regulatory stupidity in the hobby.

Usually, Chinese products have hundreds or thousands of competitors in the same product line. As a typical Asian business, the local or state government supports the leading company. Like Toyota and Nissan enjoy the Japanese government during their rise as world car companies.

I would say all the way DJI as you can pretty much record with both as preferred and have good quality, so gives you more choices and opportunities. Relying in 1 camera only is not the best bet. @colibrifpv haven't been able to get it to fly and not cut out in mid flight... I will never fly this vtx very far from the ground or over water, just not going to do it. It randomly freezes in flight. Headset and other walksnail systems are just fine together, leading me to the Moonlight Vtx issues. What I do record with it, until it, freezes looks pretty good, which makes this even more frustrating. I have not given up with it yet. Two avenues not explored yet are power problems or firmware problems. It worked fine on my Pavo20Pro, so I am hoping the fc pad the power is coming from is the issue. I think it's a 5v pad which maybe coming up short when the power demand from Moonlight demands it causing the issues.

      It depends on your needs and budget... if you are a hobbyist and like to tinker, want full control over loads of settings and don't mind things being rough around the edges in order to gain those advantages, Walknsnail could be your best bet, and you can find their systems on sale.... the Goggles L are around $200. If you want a polished system that "just works", and don't mind a little extra cost, than DJI would be a great option. If you do want to go with DJI, I highly recommend the Goggles N3 so you will have compatibility with the next generation of "04" Air Units which have not been released yet. Which system are you leaning towards?

      @ I WAS leaning more toward DJI. Having owned and flown DJI Enterprise drones for years, I was waiting on the O4 to release and see its offerings. They have been building the best camera drones for sometime. Then again DJI has always been more expensive and some would say stubborn (not really known for listening to a community). Right now, I thinking about starting with walksnail, if for no other reason Caddx has been involved in the FPV community longer. Plus, I’ve liked Caddx products back when I began building my own quads.

There is no doubt that DJI has the more advanced tech, they set the bar and Caddx plays catch up, but as you said, Caddx is way more supportive of the community because that's their niche. The point of this video was that Caddx finally did catch up to the DJI O3, a major accomplishment..... but it took them a few years, and DJI is about to leap ahead again with O4!
