    Hi, thanks for the review. Do you think this drone works better to fly only with O3 or would it be better to go up to 4s with the bee25?

    • @colibrifpv
      @colibrifpv  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      This drone (Pavo20 Pro) is going to be lighter weight and a bit easier to fly indoors and in tight spaces, while a larger 2.5" like the Pavo25 V2 or the B25 is going to be more powerful with much larger 1404 motors, which will do better outdoors. For me it depends on where you intend to fly it. If you want to fly in smaller places, like your house and local park, go Pavo20 Pro, and if you want something that will fly better outdoors, and is much faster and more powerful, go for the Pavo25V2 or the Bee25! The good news is that they all fly great and you can't go wrong...

    Question: does the frame support walksnail systems?

    • @colibrifpv
      @colibrifpv  7 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yes it does, there is an included carbon bracket that adds 20x20 mounting holes in order to mount different VTX's.

    • @wowarmy8154
      @wowarmy8154 7 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@colibrifpv really? Cause during my research it doesn't seem to be compatible with walksnail's

    • @colibrifpv
      @colibrifpv  7 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      @@wowarmy8154 Just to clarify, the included mounting bracket adds 20x20 mounting holes which the Walksnail Moonlight and the Avatar V2 have, but those VTX's are bigger and will not fit into the camera cage without some modification, either trimming the cage or adding a 3d printed one. I have seen people using Walksnail with these Pavo drones but I haven't actually done it myself. Now I see that it isn't a straight drop in installation like it is with the O3 or the Caddx Vista, so sorry if I mislead you in my previous answer. Here's a video on how to install the Avatar VTX in the Pavo 20... th-cam.com/video/AoZH_TdIsJA/w-d-xo.html

      @@wowarmy8154 No problem. Basically it "officially" supports DJI O3 + Vista and unofficially supports Walksnail (with mods). If it's a walksnail cinewhoop you're after, check out the GoFilm20, it's got bigger motors, a beefier build, but it is more $$ th-cam.com/video/eVgr2f-zzTg/w-d-xo.html

    Hi, thanks for excellent video! I need your advice, I just bought my first controller and cant wait to start in simulator but I need advice from you. I want to focus myself on flying indoors and mostly festivals and parties so I think about buying this as my first drone, paired with dji goggles 3, tbs tango 2 pro and i would later mount some kind of go pro on it. However, one of my friend really advices me to first own 5inch drone, than move to cinewhoop. From my perspective, if Im going to focus on indoors first, I dont see anything bad in tuning this drone in betaflight and practicing for what I will use it first. Whats your thoughts on this? Thank you endless!

      How often are you going to fly indoors and small outdoor spaces?

    • @colibrifpv
      @colibrifpv  7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey there, welcome to the FPV 😁 I think that starting off with a cinewhoop is a great idea because they are durable and forgiving with those prop protectors, and you can order extra prop guards for just a few dollars for repairs if/when you crash. A 5" by comparison is much more powerful, and potentially dangerous to learn on, but you definitely could if you had an open field. Flying inside is actually much more difficult then outdoors until you master throttle control, so you'll want a wide open space to start with. This 2.2" drone is too small to mount any sort of external action camera, for that you may want to consider the Pavo25 V2 for a naked GoPro, or the Pavo35 for a full GoPro. You could also start with this, then after you get some experience, pull out the VTX (the expensive part) and upgrade to another drone. Good luck!

    Another great review! I am a new FPV pilot and I was hesitating between the Pavo 20 and the Pavo 20 Pro. My goal is to fly low and slow with cinematic shots indoor and around people. I’m afraid that the Pavo 20 Pro might be a little bit too punchy and hard to keep a steady height. Would it be possible to adjust the rates in Betaflight so it feels more like the Pavo 20 and be easier to control indoor?

    • @colibrifpv
      @colibrifpv  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Hey thanks a lot for watching! I would definitely go with the Pavo20 Pro, even though it is more powerful, it's still a micro cinewhoop, so it's forgiving to learn on, durable, and easy to fly. You can definitely turn the rates down or even set a throttle limit in Betaflight to make it more beginner friendly. Also be sure to spend a little time in the simulator first, then practice in a grass field where the quad will survive those initial crashes. Pavo20 Pro is definitely the way to go 👍

    How does this compare against the caddx gofilm 20 if I use dji O3?

    • @colibrifpv
      @colibrifpv  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey, thanks for watching! The GoFilm20 has larger motors and runs on 4s. It's also a little heavier costs a bit more. Basically it's a heavier, more powerful quad, while the Pavo20Pro is lighter and more agile. As far as the VTX systems, both are very capable, but the DJI O3 does have an edge in transmission and penetration.

      Yes you can but currently there is a problem with the goggles 3 and 03 air unit so it's not really super safe to be flying them. Right now as you might disconnect and have to disarm and rearm to reconnect

    • @colibrifpv
      @colibrifpv  7 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      As mentioned, yes you can but there is currently a bug. If you already own them I would say just fly very careful (and close) and wait for the firmware update to fix this problem. Can't say for sure, but 99% chance this will be fixed soon in firmware. If you don't already own Goggles 3, consider the Goggles Integra, they perform very well and are cheaper.

    • @colibrifpv
      @colibrifpv  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Upgrading? 🤔... Well, the Pavo20 Pro is definitely more robust than the Pavo20, so what you might want to do is add the Pavo20 Pro to your fleet and just move that VTX from the Pavo20 or another quad. That's what I do to keep costs under control!

    What do you think about Pavo20Pro against your recent review of the QAV-PRO Nano ?

    • @colibrifpv
      @colibrifpv  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      They are very different animals, the Pavo20 Pro is lighter weight, more agile, and it is going to be much cheaper. The QAV-Pro Nano is a heavier build, with higher quality (more expensive) materials, and will use larger motors on 4s. It's also physically much larger, even though the props are 2" instead of 2.2". The QAV Pro Nano has the option to carry a naked GoPro, with a mount you can print, and the Pavo20Pro does not. If you are on a budget or if you want something you can rip around with, maybe crash occasionally, and you are happy with DJI O3 quality, go for the Pavo20Pro. If you want high a premium level micro drone, with the option to fly a naked GoPro, and you have a larger budget, consider the QAV Pro Nano...
