    • @colibrifpv
      @colibrifpv  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey there, thanks for watching! I haven't actually test fit those cameras so take this with a grain of salt but I would say yes, because this frame is designed for the O3 cam, which is 21.2mm wide, so those cameras will definitely fit in the space available, but you might have to rig up some spacers or use rubber o-rings. It could definitely be done though...

    Nice review, thanks. I have this frame and purchased the recommended parts from GetFPV. This was when they were offering the BetaFPV AIO. To this day, I'm still getting micro vibrations. Changed the ESC PWM, tried 3, 4 and 5 blade props. With the 3 blade props, the vibrations were bad. With the 4 and 5 prop blades, the micro vibrations are less noticeable but still there. I also tried adjusting the rubber mounts. At the moment, I'm not sure what else to do. ADC filter setting on my remote is off. I do agree the QAV flies nice.

    • @colibrifpv
      @colibrifpv  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's too bad you haven't been able to tune out those micro-vibrations. I started with Drone Camp's cinelog 20 tune and adjusted from there. I also contacted GetFPV support to see if that have an official tune for this.... apparently they are going to have a RTF version of this quad at some point, with the LUX G4 HD AIO, and support is going to forward me their PID's. Whenever they do, I will post them here and you can give them a try. The one caveat though, is that it will be based on the Lumenier AIO, not the BetaFPV AIO, and I'm not sure if the Gyros are different. Anyway, that's on the horizon...

    • @MrJmc67
      @MrJmc67 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@colibrifpv Thanks for the info. I'm more than willing to change the fc if this does remove the vibrations. I look forward when you share the PIDs for the LUX AIO whenever that happens. In the meantime, would you share your current settings? Thanks and subscibed.

      @@MrJmc67 You shouldn't have to change the AIO, but maybe something is going on with your gyro? Are you using a capacitor? I think there is one on the battery lead, right? I have heard before that with STM gyros are super sensitive and require very clean power. Here are the PID's from DroneCamps, it will make your quad less responsive, but easier to control in tight spaces, which is what I wanted... www.dronecamps.com/single-post/new-drone-camps-pid-tune-for-cinelog20-1

    you mention about a full gopro, but i could easily see myself running the Dji air 03 on that quad for the range/penetration, and still using my gopro 10 bones on top for the footage. I am looking for a 2.5 to mount my gopro bones on for pro work, and this frame still seems like it may be my best option i'm thinking. would love to hear if anyone thinks any frames may be better though? the wider footprint of this seems like it would handle really well too.

    • @colibrifpv
      @colibrifpv  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The scenario you mention was exactly my case - I needed something to run GoPro Bones for a paid job (local barber shop) that required me to do a wide to interior one-take shot, basically showing the location and inside of the business. My Pavo V1 wasn't up to it with its 1404's and my Cinelog 35 was too intrusive for the interior shots. This one flies great with the Bones. The "full" GoPro is more of a proof of concept. Yes, it absolutely can carry a full GoPro... but why do it on 2.5" props? That's what 3.5" is for! Also consider the QAV 2.5" from Lumenier. It's a super high quality frame, but costs more. BetaFPV has a reputation for not being as durable (Bardwell and others have called them out), but their latest gen of products is way better, and they have upped their standards and QC.

    • @colibrifpv
      @colibrifpv  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can't see why not, but you may need to extend those motors wires, this frame is much wider, even though it is a 2". Also, if you already have a CL20, was it a BNF from GEPRC? If so, maybe just keep it and build one of these from scratch with larger motors? I only suggest it because GEPRC's tune is usually so good it would be a shame to waste it...

I did see your message (sorry for not responding sooner) and I contacted GETFPV support requesting the BNF tune in order to share it with you. They first said yes (I didn't initially respond to your message because I was waiting for the tune, then I forgot). However, Blake from GetFPV then told me that actually no, they won't share it, because it's part of the IP involved in developing the BNF. That's a bummer, but I guess it makes sense, right? 🤷‍♂️ Anyway, my tune is basically involves a bit of expo and really softening things down a lot so it is super easy to control indoors and in tight spaces....check out Drone Camp's tune of the CL20... it's basically the same thing and his article walks you through it. THanks a lot for that! I prefer flying 650mah 4s and I am getting between 4-5 minutes. Longer flight times are possible on 750 or 850mah 4s but the drone will be very heavy. Manufacturer recommends 550-650 4s, but I found 550 mah to be a little too short for my taste, about 3-3.5 min. Trust me, 650mah 4s is the sweet spot 😁

      I started with DroneCamp's CL20 tune and adjusted from there. I also asked GetFPV and the frame designers if they have anything official, and will post here if I hear back.
      Mine flies super stable, great for filming, but not aggressive at all, pretty squishy unresponsive controls if you are used to freestyle, but that is what I was going for... a slow cruiser I can fly indoors and around people.

      Hmm, they are pretty close, and they are both MUCH less noisy than other larger cinewhoops due to size and weight. I would say the Pavo Pico is slightly quieter than the QAV Pro due to its lighter weight, but that difference is very small. If noise is your biggest concern, and you are filming only with DJI O3, go with Pavo 20 or Flylense from Flywoo with naked O3. THe lightest quad, relative to prop size, will always be the quietest

    I bought the frame, ending up with 1 piece of camera mount instead of 2

      That is very strange since those aluminum pieces come in a foam protector making it pretty obvious something was missing, right? Definitely contact getfpv support and they will take care of you.

    Hello, I bought this drone, and I put an Ovonic 80C 4S 650mah Lipo Battery 14.8V battery in it, and after taking off after 10 meters of flight, the drone falls to the ground without power.

      That's too bad... did you buy a RTF from GetFPV or did you build it yourself? Sounds like a bad ESC to me, first check all of the soldering joints, sometimes when soldering is not perfect, there could be a short, or if heat is left on the pads too long, a FET could be damaged. If it failed so quickly, my bet is a bad ESC. Try contacting GetFPV support if you bought it from them to see if they can do something for you...

      @@colibrifpv I don't notice that neither the ESC nor the motors are getting hot at all, I don't know what the problem is, the battery is 100% charged.

      Tienes derecho a tu opinión, pero debes explicar un poco más... que te parece inferior de este whoop, en comparación a otras opciones en el mercado, tomando en cuenta no solamente el costo, per calidad, durabilidad, peso, etc. 🤔??
