Sounds awful….neighbors reporting neighbors as if it is in China!! If there are rules on lawn ornaments, enforcement for all or for no one. Not, ‘rules for thee, not for me’…

So drunkenness, very busy, cars and golf carts, biking, running, plus gossip by nosy neighbors, traffic bottlenecks. Hmm….not for me as I do not drink alcohol at all and do like a quieter community. To be fair, you did mention a lot of pluses.Thanks for your information!

As a newbie, I agree with everything you said in this video. THIS PLACE IS HUGE! However, as you briefly mentioned, if you stay at home, it's nice and comfortable. I'm an in-betweener. I get out, but most of the things I do are pretty much isolated between 466 and 466A. While that's still a lot of area (and a lot of golf courses), I don't even consider heading south of 466A. To me, it's really just more of the same for my interests. To me it's no different than living in a city. Yes, there are multiple Targets and WalMarts, but I never went to them all--I went to the ones I'm used to. The big draw here is the weather and there are SO many things to do.

I think you are being small. We are all here to be kind and have a good time. I love my neighbors.

Spend a whole summer there before buying. We lived in Texas for 19 years. The long summer can really get oppressive and tiresome. We moved north and are very happy.

Hi, enjoying your videos. Visiting the Villages middle of March for the 4th time. hope to be down there in less than 8 months. I heard in one of your videos something about being part of a platform club. Is that Platform tennis? I grew up playing it, have not in awhile but would like to play again. I have not seen courts being used much. How hard is it to find someone that will play or a group and just show up. I am out of practice but think i could hold my own. I have played some tennis, more racquetball and pickleball about three times sort of. Last time we were there we used the platform tennis courts with a pickleball paddle and a tennis ball. Not sure what that game would be called. And is there in racquetball in the surrounding areas? don't think i have seen any in the Villages. Thanks

Rented in The Villages for 5 months and decided it wasn't a place for us. Found a new community in Ocala instead with young and older ppl and all is well. Of course, Ocala is exploding with new construction.😢😢

I have found you guys to be sincere and genuine and I enjoy your videos. You put out honest videos with good info. If you guys are stopping for positive reasons or it’s time to move on, best wishes and thank you for what you have done to provide info to people. If you are leaving due to negative people who say mean things, I hope you come back. Being sensitive is a quality, not a weakness, it means you have empathy and good hearts. Don’t let them get to you, they are a small minority of unhappy people who try to create misery because it loves company. You guys do a great job and you are nice people.
