Thanks Debbie & Jan. From another TH-cam channel I watch, it has been recommended to alway contact & get ARC approval for any exterior modifications or landscaping changes. Also, if you are buying a preowned home, to check that the seller received ARC permission for all exterior modifications & landscaping changes. One person supposedly bought a preowned home with newer roof shingles that were out of compliance...unapproved color. A complaint was lodged against the new homeowner, who now is supposedly on the hook to replace the out of compliance shingles.
If you’ve lived there a while I would assume it’s economical however buying now the bonds are are in the low $40k-$79k with almost 5.5% interest. Gone are the days of $20k and less bonds. Add to that the cost for a decent piece of land $30-$220k+ plus higher taxes and insurance I see why lots of people “retiring” to TV are still working. Not being negative about TV just realistic. We are actively looking for our perfect piece of land to build on.
Well, there are neighborhoods with restrictions and some without. If it is something that you would want, or if it bothers you, that would be a great question for a realtor. Thank you for watching!
