😂 I think I'm mostly just avoiding starting Zodiac Academy - that is one loooong series and I have a few older ones I want to get to first LOL Congrats on getting your tbr down!!! That's my biggest goal this year. There's no way I'll get it down to 20, but I'm hoping to cut a big chunk into it. TOG would be a fun series to tackle this year! With the rest of TOG on my tbr, idk how many other books I'm going to realistically be able to get to, BUT we're going to try our best! 😋 Ooo that John Gwynne series sounds interesting (and has really cool covers lol)! I read Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian Macallister last year and really liked it - I'll definitely have her new book to my amazon list! Throne of Glass is definitely really really good..it's just such a chunky series! 😮‍💨 lol And YES!! That's exactly why all those series are still sitting on my shelf..so many books to get through (especially Zodiac Academy 😳) LOL Happy New Year and Happy Reading!! 📖✨

That's how I'm thinking about them at this point: options..there is no way I'll be able to actually read all of them..it just got so out of control so fast! 😂 I've never heard of The Deepest Blue, but it's immediately going onto my wishlist (just read the synopsis) it sounds SO GOOD!! @jenseereads haha I've definitely done that before. Sometimes, when you're excited about so many books it's hard to not just keep adding. 😂 All of her books just really call to me so I'm glad I've finally picked her up. The atmosphere is really good and the writing is beautiful. Also if you like a water/island setting this will be right up your alley.

Same! I accidentally bought The Last Hours trilogy early last year not realizing there was another series before it (I want to read them in chronological order), so I'm FINALLY getting the Infernal Devices books lol It's been really good so far, I hope you like them!! 📖💕✨

I did the same thing lol - I read the first book on kindle and then bulk bought the rest of the series....and then proceeded to let them all sit on my shelves untouched for over a year 🫣 definitely need to get to those this year! lol And I didn't know there was a 6th book coming out!! I'll have to look for that date 👀

Ooo good question 🤔 I read it awhile ago and I have a horrible memory 😅, but if I remember correctly The Scarlet Veil had it's own separate story, so you probably could read it by itself. The characters from Serpent & Dove do pop up here and there though, and it would be helpful to have the backstory of how and why they all know each other....idk if that was super helpful, but I hope you enjoy the series regardless of how you end up reading it! 💕📖✨

I want to try another Freida McFadden book, but I don't know which one..maybe one that's a little less hyped up 😅 lol And, in my humblest opinion 😋, Spark of the Everflame is definitely worth the hype - I hope you love it!! 📖🔥✨
