I just thrifted 218 books and spent 30 for my kids teens and adult book giveway at work. I do it because kids are on phones and iPad to much. I given away 1700 books in 8 months at applebees on veterans in metarie la I need to thrift some more teens ones for the teens who come in
I'm curious what book you are referring to in the Never After series that's similar to a Disney movie you don't like; also what the Disney movie is. I'm a big fan of Little Mermaid and most Disney fairytales so I may be picking up this series.
Crossed was the book that was my least favorite, it's based off of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I didn't mind that movie as a kid, but I saw it once and that was enough for me lol ...unlike The Little Mermaid, which I watched about a thousand times 😋 Also, just in case before you pick up them up, I definitely do recommend the series, BUT they aren't fantasy or like a fairytale. It's more modern day mafia style romances with nods to the movies.
and I think I want to read or at least try 85% of these. better than the movies is on sale on kindle - so I just bought it. I'm really not sure when I'll read it but hopefully sooner than later. October is going to be my no book buying month with a few exceptions. while I hope these books do well, I'm also hoping that I don't hear a lot of hype about them so that I'm not tempted.
