This looks like just what i needed, thanks :) I would have one question, after positioning all the droplets, is it posisble to activate physics on them? For example, to make them slide down the surface applying air or gravity. Thanks !

If you guys need to also bake this all into a single texture for game use, duplicate the object, create a single material for the new object, create an image texture, make sure it's selected, go into cycles, find the bake option and bake the maps you need with selected to active. For diffuse make sure you select colour only And dont forget to save the image

Clean and concise tutorial , it would be great if you could do the same workflow with UCU paint as it comes free with blender extensions now and it is very poweful and takes away a lot of node noodling and makes the whole experience layer based.. i am sure a lot of new blender peeps would love it !

@@lavatr8322 sub painter is a powerful tool it does a lot , i haven't used it just seen videos of it , but as Ucu harnesses the blender engine , it does a lot of things that SUB paint can do , especially the layer based material loading , decal , choose to influence any aspect of the material in a very very simple way without needing to open the material editor.
Would love to see more for this series, the building style is not what I am going for in my own project, this is more like a survival "build a home" and I'm working on a town building game, but I can easily see how this could be adapted to my own needs and certainly lays the groundwork well for some more advanced functionality.

I'm tired of this 'realism' crap. That's not the point. The point is to make something look GOOD. Not everything that's realistic is good

Isn't this technic looking wrong - as Sunlight makes always a very clean strong Shadow and has no fall off, you just get two of them next to each other. I'm kind of very new to Blender, but I think if you take a closer look, this looks a bit wrong. Maybe I miss something, as I still don't know so much. But thanks anyway to show something new.
