Note that by choosing the plastic recipe instead of the rubber one this is actually a 5 GW power plant. I forgot that plastic generates less heavy oil
Feels like cheating tbh. I tend to just use a single row of cage traps in front of any entrance. Maybe 2 on untamed wilds. Actually, that bit at the end about using diagonals for forgotten beasts might be a lot more helpful for me, time will tell.
Auto butcher for my cat farm is such a blessing 🙌
There's a really cool extradimensional version of the Turbow which gives it the vibro property. It still adds its PV bonus, though, and your strength bonus to PV, so you get a base PV of ≈ +8, resulting in a hard minimum of 4 penetrations per shot, 5 pens more often than not, and 6 pens half the time. All with wooden arrows. It goes up as you use better arrows.
After a run that made it through the entire (current) main quest line, I did not at all expect that the most powerful opponent would be.... a hendecasludge. Not even giant salt krakens strike as much terror...
Fusan dies: *guts theme*
I killed many door companions in this playthrough!
This is the best video on the Interwebs. Everything else is but a pale imitation.
Instead of doing a work order loop, I've just been setting them to only start if there's enough cloth to complete every clothing work order, plus a little extra.
Yeah since making this video I updated my approach to do it this way too. I also now include bags and started giving them leather cloaks since they'll steal them from my military anyway.
If you don't use a backpack, your dwarves will run back to base to eat all the time when you have them set to patrol or station. Instead, make sure they have a chest to put their food in.
I get around that by never using patrol or station,if you check the happiness video you can see that these days I have them inside the tavern all the time. I only bother with those if I'm doing a raiding/world domination challenge and need them to avoid cave adaption, but even then with good fort design food should never be far from them.
this is the first time i ever hear about this game and im very lost and also very intrigued, now i really wanna play it lmao
Often I find myself in areas with sparse amounts of wood, or even delving underground to find it. It's usually for beds, bins, and charcoal. So unfortunately I've never dreamed of automating the soap industry, I usually just make a big batch of it a few years into the life of a fortress.
Good. Very good. It's looks like something that dwarfs from TES would do.
Cheers mate!
Hope you make more content like this very nice dude :)
Persona 3 ass character

I didn't realize the sultans could have different names. All of mine in this very long run I'm doing are called Batafa, I to V. This was good to watch. Love me some OPM.
Excellent!!!
Yo can you stream today
Yes! I'll be streaming in a few hours!
I love this video about memories and tots!

Do you know if the shared wall value also applies to windows? Could 4 rooms share a gem window?
Not sure! I'll test it out next time I'm playing df
This is why it's the greatest game of its kind. It's the Noita of turn based adventure mode rogueish games.
My dwarves are taking my caged goblins to the dungeon. How can I prevent that so I can still have a justice system?
If you have olives, you can just use those exclusively without worrying about using the seeds up since olives are tree based.
Yup but that doesn't make up for all the other issues with olives - like how you only get them in certain parts of the world, you have less control over how they're produced, etc. Rock nuts work in every fort and as long as you do the work orders correctly can be completely automated.
thats adoorable
sick persona 3 reference
How do you get into Downing Street? And what’s it like inside?
I don't know if you can get in there
This is why I always prioritize heat resistance, then cold, acid and electric. Resistances trivialise many dangerous creatures and weapons. The weathered skill and the fur mutation are great to get a headstart.
THere's something beautiful about giving a door the gift of sentience
This was fun qud is always full of surprises
Gutted this isn't on xbox. It looks amazing.
Its actually realy shitty how long it takes to get a place to out your crap
Yeah! On the discord they told me to go to the bridge but it's gated by traits/special stats so it is limited to certain characters. At this point I've discovered them all but they're distribution isn't great - like there's two near Westminster next to each other but none in the east or north east areas. My survival build is settlement heavy where I put down roots in a new settlement and use it as a base to scout out around the area close to supplies. I can't really do that in London as there's so much that is far away from the available settlements.
This is one hell of a stream intro it is just delicious
It's such a banger!
I hope this doesn't come across in a bad way but for me, having alternative soundtracks really takes out a lot of the enjoyment of watching a stream for a game like Fallout.
I have to do this because I'm told streamers have been hit with copyright strikes for Fallout London music.
@@FurtherReadingTV ahhh fair enough 👌
I agree it sucks though, my fondest memories are wandering around vibing to the radio in the other fallouts!
Where did you find the stun baton?
I found it in Lewisham East mall. Head to the south of the walled Lewisham area where all the hooligans are. There's a whole bunch of famished in there so it's a little tricky at low levels, but taking a bunch of molotov cocktails makes it easy to get through.
@@FurtherReadingTV Thanks!
@@FurtherReadingTV Could you please specify it? I found only "New Cross gate retail park" Is that it ? I didn't find it there. Famished are easy with laser muskets and stealth crits if you take them ono on one. lvl 10 here
That's the place - it says Lewisham East Mall on the map but the door says New Cross Gate Retail Park. You turn right as you enter and there's a box in the room with the uv blacklight.
@@FurtherReadingTV thank you very much - so OP weapon! and so missable. Maybe camleot have something better in late game. So addicting game !
Every single permaphased character that I played has inevitably ended up violating the Paoli Exclusion Principle eventually. Dominating a tabby cat or a phase spider works best, but even that is not entirely safe.
Reminds me of the time I beat the game as a marble block
Here's the four settlements I found so far i.imgur.com/vMHYP3c.png i.imgur.com/Kqyoord.png The blue square is the train crash. The settlements are as follows 1. Vauxhall Grove Construction site - No quests or anything to unlock. 2. Lambeth Walk - Gotta kill the resident radger. Once gone there's no quest to unlock. 3. London Bridge - Quest is gated behind various combinations of trats, perks and special stats. Quest involves killing a bunch of cannibals, mainly large numbers in cramped spaces. 4. Biggin Hill Airport - Quest is not gated. Involves killing a whole bunch of dryads, then completing a dungeon. Others I have not marked on the map: Tennis museum in wembly to the south west Convent Garden In Camdem In the North.
👍
I've been trying to find a vid of settlement building in Fallout London. Thanks for uploading this. I'm probably not going to sit through all 7 hours but I'll be checking it out. 29:00 A bridge settlement location is pretty cool. Would have liked something like this in Fallout 4.
I just added a pinned comment with some links showing some settlements, along with how to unlock them.
@@FurtherReadingTV 👍
Are you from Denmark? 🌈
Nope, Ireland.
Great stuff, thanks
How does a gay door come out of the closet? Does he open up himself and then emerges from himself?
“What kind of videos do you watch on TH-cam?” “It’s complicated.”
I know its have been like ayear after this video was posted. But i have a question, will this setup work the same way if the we change the lava into a lake?
Yup! I use it all the time for cutting into rivers and lakes.
About your staircase waterfall... I was inspired by this to try building one of my own, but it's not quite working out. I'm still relatively new to the game and this is my first time experimenting with water at all, but from what I can see, it SHOULD be working. The basic setup looks very similar to what you've got here - water comes from the river to a cistern and then drops about 8 levels around the staircase, with a large drain leading off the map on the bottom layer. The issue is that it doesn't seem to be draining quickly enough, and within seconds of the water hitting the drain layer, it backs up the waterfall to the next layer and begins to fill. Left unchecked, it WILL flood the entire fortress, and I can't figure out what I've done wrong.
It might be you have a much bigger river than mine. Try increasing the size of the bottom layer, don't be afraid to make it huge. Consider even making it two stories if it seems to keep backing up. Note that a little flooding at the start can be common but usually once the bottom layer hits the fortifications it should start to calm down a little.
@FurtherReadingTV thank you! I backtracked to an earlier save and am redesigning it as we speak - fingers crossed! 😂
