Completely agree with these rankings!

I read mist and frost during Christmas so I may be biased because I really liked that one. The worst one for me was silver and flame. It dragged on and had way too much sex that it wasn't tantalizing just repulsing. And they had very little action in it and the action that did happen was just thrown in. They had no depth to it

I took it as my sign and listened to the audiobook. I loved it.

I am re-reading the series right now and I am at wings and ruin. Definitely my favorite is the second book but I really like the first book too. I like that it was a shorter book but it introduced a lot of the main people and setting really well. And I noticed that Sarah J Mass sometimes put parts where Feyre mentions something that happened in the past like 'by the way this happened...'. With the third and the fifth book there is none of that. Even the smallest of things get dragged out so much I wish the same method was used. We were present for all the times Nesta tried the stairs, all their workouts etc.

DNF. Got to chapter 30, more than halfway through. I really liked the plot but hated the overused cliches and the actual writing. Thanks for finishing the book for me.

I JUST finished this book reading through the series, and man…..it was a chore to get through, I had to power through it so I can get to the last book. I’ve never read something that threatened to put me to sleep as much as this book had. And man it felt SO LONG!!. The entire book just felt like a complete waste of time to read through. And the chapters for Cassion and Azrael were just oddly written compared to Feyre and Ryse. And Nesta and Elaine, I couldn’t stand either of them throught the whole book, and poor Lucien man…..cut the guy some slack already, I mean shoot he doesn’t even get his own chapter in the book ffs, throw my guy a bone already!!.

Just finished it. It was ok, not my favorite. 🤷🏻‍♀️

10/10 agree with this review. Personally, I think you made the right choice between 2 and 3. I loved Nesta's comeback story. I loved Wings of Ruin, but it is almost too fast-paced. Also I feel like the death of the king of hybern felt almost glossed over.

I’m all for more Jack Barlow as long as we get to hate him more and he dies in the most gruesome way! I need more Sgael - I’d love to get an insight into her relationship with Xaden now. I know it goes against the rules of talking to dragons and riders who aren’t yours but I’d love a girly chat between Sgael and Violet 😂 I would LOVE to see a relationship between Imogen and Garrick but I know as soon as that happens, one of them will die so I’m not sure which way I’m leaning! Maybe Sliseag with a harness and seat so Sawyer can still ride with one leg (although I’m not sure if dragons can wear a pulley system to get him on…) !! I wonder whether Xaden’s mom will turn up in this one or if we’re going to have to wait until book 4 but she’s got to be important, right? Oh, and Papa Sorrengail’s feather tail research. I don’t want much 😊

Greetings good Sir from Scotland, UK. So, to summarise your summary, this book is ACOTAR but also House of The Dragon and it takes place at Hogwarts, but it’s all ok because Rhysand is in it? Sounds good to me 👍 😅 My friend has tried to get me to read ACOTAR for years and has never sold it to me. I discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago and now I have the whole series. You are excellent at describing these books. I have subscribed.
