I agree with your assessments I have been calling starlight the novella the whole time too! I also agree with your rankings wholeheartedly!!! I think silver flames is a great atonement to overcoming depression. I love both sisters overcame different depression types and healing ways.

I feel bad for tamlin and I want his redemption. I LOVED the bone carver I was sad when he died. I love super powerful/mysterious/immortal deity characters so I wanted to know more about him and where he came from, why does he appear differently to people. I also really like Lucien and I feel bad for him. Elaine is a snooze fest. Morrigan seems underused. LOVE Cassian. I want to know more about Azriel. My favorite is Amren and idk if I’d rather have her stay dead than completely powerless. But your description of her was hilarious.

Book "4" made me feel like I was dying the slowest most painful death. Also the first book literally took me 3 years to get past the first few chapters. I finally made it to chapter 7 this year and then slammed the whole series...

Oh my god!! I Thought i was the only one who thought Mor had SOMETHING going on. I mean her power is ‘truth’ but it’s never specified what it DOES. I personally feel like she has the power of keeping the truth from others i mean come on, if you reread the book, and pay close enough attention to her and Eris, all the conversations they have, he’s always talking about the truth and things that always make me personally feel that something else is happening. Also why would Eris spare Mors father visiting the city? I mean personally i’d never want to help someone i HATE.. but i’m just yapping so..🤷‍♀️

Liked before even watching 😅 I’ve watched all of your ACATAR videos and loved all of them 😂 I just finished reading this book

Am I the only one who thought the tittle is inspired by The Office. I mean Assistant to the Villian (Assistant to the regional manager). And the whole thing of Evie quitting because she was trying to give Blade a reason to come out and speak his truth (Dwight protecting Angela by submitting his paperwork in NY office and not telling the truth to Michael because it should come from Angela) but when Evie quits, The Villian realizes how much she was doing. How the office was dependent on her (Dwight arranging Michael’s toys and watering the office plants). I mean I could be wrong, after all being The Office nerd, I have the tendency to relate everything with it all day every day.

Finally someone said it. None of them are innocent. Lowen helps kill Verity, then she hid the supposed truth. Jeremy tries to kill Verity twice and succeeded. Verity was obsessed with Jeremy that she believed she was a good mother and wife. Like you said, they deserved what they got coming. Honestly just because of all the craziness i kept reading. The only person that gets my sympathy is Crew, he forsure is going to need that therapy to not end up like Jeremy.

I really appreciate this review. I heard things both ways about her other series after I finished all of ACOTAR, so was torn on whether I should spend time on them. Knowing that it starts rough but gets better definitely helps.
