I’m going to agree with your rankings! Silver Flames is my most favorite to re-read and re-listen to (the Graphic Audio version) and Cassian and Nesta are - by far - my most favorite characters (completely agree with you on Cassian!), but you make really good points about ACOMAF. So, upon further reflection…yes, yes those are spot-on rankings! 👍 Well done, Sir! And I can never get enough of your analogies! Lol They’re funny and creative and always make me laugh!
Book "4" made me feel like I was dying the slowest most painful death. Also the first book literally took me 3 years to get past the first few chapters. I finally made it to chapter 7 this year and then slammed the whole series...
The fact that your number 2 is my number 5 makes me want to reread everything. But despite my love for Cass and (eventually Nes) it was hundreds of pages of excercise and shelving books. The coolest shit was in the last 200 pages which made me love it, but that's kind of SJMs m.o. in this series, stuffing a bunch of crazy shit in the last 4th of the book.
Agree with your ranking book 2 is my favorite (chapter 55🤭) but I have to say a court of frost and starlight is my guilty pleasure is a sweet break from war
I am re-reading the series right now and I am at wings and ruin. Definitely my favorite is the second book but I really like the first book too. I like that it was a shorter book but it introduced a lot of the main people and setting really well. And I noticed that Sarah J Mass sometimes put parts where Feyre mentions something that happened in the past like 'by the way this happened...'. With the third and the fifth book there is none of that. Even the smallest of things get dragged out so much I wish the same method was used. We were present for all the times Nesta tried the stairs, all their workouts etc.
I agree with your assessments I have been calling starlight the novella the whole time too! I also agree with your rankings wholeheartedly!!! I think silver flames is a great atonement to overcoming depression. I love both sisters overcame different depression types and healing ways.
Well you’ve talked me into finishing the series. ✨spoiler I stopped in the middle of ACOWAR when the Suriel was killed as he was one of my favorite characters and I didn’t want him to have died at all but especially like that.✨ Absolutely ripped my heart out
8:21 Your description of Feyre between end of book II and then in book III is SPOT ON. Also ACOSF is #1 for me--most well-written with the most fascinating and relatable character arcs. 💯
I've not yet finished ACOSF but ACOWAR is my all time favorite and number one in the series. The action and war theme is phenomenal! I don't even enjoy action or war themed books.
10/10 agree with this review. Personally, I think you made the right choice between 2 and 3. I loved Nesta's comeback story. I loved Wings of Ruin, but it is almost too fast-paced. Also I feel like the death of the king of hybern felt almost glossed over.
I’m with your Mum. I loved A Court of Thorns and Roses. Slow start but I was HOOKED once Tamlin took Feybae. And don’t worry, the Nesta/Cass/Az scene plays in my head often too, you’re not alone haha.
I actually loved ACOTAR (book 1). I don't understand why people are hating on it. Like if it wasn't a great book, it would've not made you read the second book. And though it was kinda slow, I think the great world building and the plot twists and the crazy characters made up for it, I mean l love night court people but I also love lucien and tamlin! And other characters There is literally nothing wrong with tamlin ( he was just not right for feyre). I rated ACOTAR 5 stars and loved it
I agree with the rateing for book 3.5 it is good as a little holiday heart warm in Dec but that's about it (can't really rate how you do cause I got the graphic audio on audible for 1 credit each and the voice actors the sound effects and all that make it worth it to me a little more). ooooh, you got Tamlin so right I would go as far as to say he's a "nice guy" cause he does not handle rejection too well and I can picture him with a fedora calling Fayre "M'Lady".
OMG in this ACOSF i just cannot get out of my head that Nesta did 2 in 1 special but she was new to the idea of a 69 😂. And i need to reread but for me ACOWAR was no.1
I agree with your rating 100% I do have a special place in my heart for Silver Flame because I relate most to Nesta in that one! But with solid storytelling and plot, ACOMAF is indeed the best one.
This is such a briliant video. And I have not read any of them. Don't intent to. So much fun having right now. Thank you. . . . 🤔 can I just read your nr. 1? Like just that?
My mother also read them and loved them. ‼️ warning ‼️ my mother liked to yell about the x rated scenes but she explicitly re re re read the books over and over The whole experience made me rethink letting my mom read anything I was currently reading.
I read mist and frost during Christmas so I may be biased because I really liked that one. The worst one for me was silver and flame. It dragged on and had way too much sex that it wasn't tantalizing just repulsing. And they had very little action in it and the action that did happen was just thrown in. They had no depth to it
That’s crazy the ACOTAR isn’t high up there but to be fair I just started reading it and I am on your moms side as well, I love Tamlin 💕 but who knows maybe my opinion will change when when I get to the other books.
I agree with the rankings. What I have trouble with is the pronunciation of Rhysand...and it's not with you. I read the books prior to watching any videos by Maas of her creation of the ACOTAR universe, so I read the name Rhysand as Rhy-saund. Not Rhy-sand. I know it is spelled that way, but my head pronounced it differently and I think more romantically. Keep up the good work, can't wait for the next book. I love Azriel, as does every reader alive.
"there's just 7s*x scene, grow up" I'm glad I didn't see the person who said that, I just hate people shaming people for not being as openly sexual as them. If you like to read smut, or whatever related to s*x in literature, it's fine, totally. But if you complain when people make a valid criticism of smut (mostly when it's TO MUCH and it doesn't give the story anything) you just have a problem. Nothing related probably with the entire of the video but I just get so mad with people like that
Both book 1 and 4 (3.5) are terrible, I only kept reading book 1 because a friend warned me its bad but it gets better... i love book 5, more than book 2, but maybe its because I read it in english and the other ones I read the translated version to portugese, witch I tell you, is not good at all!
“Not my cup of tea but she is my shot of whiskey.” I am so stealing that. Totally agree
☕️❌ 🥃✅
SAY IT WITH ME, IF ITS FAE ITS OKAY
This was amazing!😂😂
That made me cackle outloud
😂
Well said🎉

I’m developing a new appreciation for that book as I read it during this season.
I love the way you discribed Tampon 😂😂😂
Literally just finished the series. Totally agree with the ranking. ACOMAF was everything I needed and more 😍
I am re-reading the series right now and I am at wings and ruin. Definitely my favorite is the second book but I really like the first book too. ACOFAS I see as a little palate cleanser. Nothing really important happens but it does give us a little breather after ACOWAR
Not nasty nesta 🤣🤣🤣
I totally agree with the ranking. ACOMAF is truly fantastic 🖤💜✨️🌌🌠
I agree with your assessments I have been calling starlight the novella the whole time too! I also agree with your rankings wholeheartedly!!! I think silver flames is a great atonement to overcoming depression. I love both sisters overcame different depression types and healing ways.
Completely agree with these rankings!
Well you’ve talked me into finishing the series. ✨spoiler I stopped in the middle of ACOWAR when the Suriel was killed as he was one of my favorite characters and I didn’t want him to have died at all but especially like that.✨ Absolutely ripped my heart out
I wish he would’ve gotten more page time!
8:21 Your description of Feyre between end of book II and then in book III is SPOT ON.

We want to watch you talking to your mom about book 1!
I COULDNT STOP SMILING! And I actually laughed a couple of times 😂😂 I 100% agree with everything
I've not yet finished ACOSF but ACOWAR is my all time favorite and number one in the series. The action and war theme is phenomenal! I don't even enjoy action or war themed books.
Cassian is the best character! Yes!
Love this video! Completely agree with this ranking
I hate nesta so much. But your assessment is totally fair, and I can appreciate why it’s #2 for you🎉
10/10 agree with this review. Personally, I think you made the right choice between 2 and 3. I loved Nesta's comeback story. I loved Wings of Ruin, but it is almost too fast-paced. Also I feel like the death of the king of hybern felt almost glossed over.
100% agree Cassian is better than Rhys ❤
Absolutely agree about Cassian over Rhys!
You are amazing and thank you !!! Cassian also you win
Only just started ACOTAR book 1
I haven't read the George RR books because they are huge and here you come with these huge books, not doing it either don't care how spicy they are.
I’m with your Mum. I loved A Court of Thorns and Roses. Slow start but I was HOOKED once Tamlin took Feybae.
And don’t worry, the Nesta/Cass/Az scene plays in my head often too, you’re not alone haha.
Like minded
100% agree with your ranking. Love me some cass and nes

I loved the first one too! I don’t understand why so many people didn’t like it. I liked it better than a Court of Wings and Ruin 🤷♀️

I totally agree with your ranking!
ACOFAS is more of a synopsis on each character … definitely #5
That reaction after reading the last sentence... 😂
I'm looking for a reason to continue reading ACOSF while watching this because I've dnfed it for two months
I agree with your rating 100% I do have a special place in my heart for Silver Flame because I relate most to Nesta in that one! But with solid storytelling and plot, ACOMAF is indeed the best one.

🤔 can I just read your nr. 1? Like just that?
I agree with every single word 🎯
I agree with your ranking 👌
And that Cassian is a better character than Rhysand 😉
Thank you for your hilarious portrayals of him 😁 x
I'd put SF as 3 and WR 2nd and the rest i 100% agree .
The way my jaw dropped at the opening ranking
No you're definitely right, I would prefer Cassian over rhysand a thousand percent !!
My mother also read them and loved them. ‼️ warning ‼️ my mother liked to yell about the x rated scenes but she explicitly re re re read the books over and over The whole experience made me rethink letting my mom read anything I was currently reading.
Just gonna curl up with my Christmas book and a line of coke 💀💀
😂😂

I think your mother likes Tamlin cause physically it's you 😂😂😂😂 Super correct about Cassian vs Rhys btw!
That’s crazy the ACOTAR isn’t high up there but to be fair I just started reading it and I am on your moms side as well, I love Tamlin 💕 but who knows maybe my opinion will change when when I get to the other books.
Then buckle up! 🤣

We have the same exact rankings!! ❤
100% agree!
3:42 HAHHAHAHAHAHA kill me
I love your videos

ACOMAF
ACOTAR
ACOWAR
ACOSF
ACOFAS

ACOFAS bored me to tears!
My plan for 2025-read the acotar series!
Do it!
@StevensBookReviews i will for sure! My friend has almost finished them and she loves them so I'm excited

All of it is terrible. Throw it all away. I'm never trusting tiktok. Y'all have terrible taste!
😂
