Love this book. I think what you said about it being a palette cleanser is spot on. It just leaves you feeling happy. I think the second book is just as good, too. Also, wanted to say your videos (here and on IG) are just wonderful. Makes me smile and laugh every time I see one. Thanks for being a light out there for people who need it.

I was really put off from reading this book because everyone kept gushing about how great of a romantasy it is and it’s enemies to lovers (I hate the trope-ification of books 😂 but also this one is just so overused and overhyped).
But this new genre of romcomantasy started to intrigue me. So thank youuu and great video as always 😃
I really enjoyed this book! I thought it was so much fun to read. Did I go in blind and expecting there to be spice because booktok? Yes. Was I disappointed? No. I picked up the second book immediately after finishing the first and I am ready for the third to come out.
