Mitch, I really appreciate the info you gave me about freeing up the pistons in my '26. Can you recommend a source for information, like torquing and loosening sequence for heads, info like that ? Or, do you have an email address for public inpu ? Keep your T videos coming !
This was great. Thank you.
I would lowkey daily drive that
This made me cry 315 times
Been nice to know what and why
Fun stuff. Just did this last weekend in my t. Good memories you will never forget.
It's a lot of work. But vary rewarding. Hope it's still coming along well. I had taken a pause when working on mine. Life and such. Then went at anything I could when I had time. Its long finished now and worth it. Have fun
Is the nut on the back supposed to spin? Mine spins and self tightens but soon tight that the fan stops spinning!
It should not spin. Here's a drawing about the fan assembly from Ford model t forums www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/179374/241283.html?1318799207
May need to practice tig welding a bit more
Good video. I have replaced my transmission bands before but I always removed the whole transmission cover which is a lot of work. Last year I replaced the band for the brake with a Kevlar one because I couldn't get the cotton ones anymore. I thought I had some cotton banding but couldn't find it until after I installed the Kevlar one..... figures. Anyway I don't think I'm getting as much friction with the Kevlar as the cotton ones. Yours has the wider brake band so it might not make any difference but I am planning on going back to cotton but this time installing them through the transmission door since I don't feel like doing it the hard way. Anyway has anybody else seen a difference in the friction from Kevlar vs. cotton?
Vad får man ge för dessa idag? Din va jättefin 😊
When are we going to see more progress on the model t. More videos please!
😮👍🏻👍🏻
$250 msrp in 1925! (~$4,300 adj for inflation)
Beautiful old girl 👌
Сепер класс ...спасибо ребята
This is exactly what I'm building. I just bought a Runabout body from Canada with two operable doors... and a spare cowel.
Wonderful car......👍👋✌️
After a hundred miles, the arms are quite tingly.😊
It feels great, I did a 300km (~185 miles) round-trip during summer
Still need some work to do....👍
This is cool. I like old things 👍
Did you get your T on the road yet?
Sadly not yet, there's been some things that's gotten in the way. I'm looking into continuing during 2024
👌👌👌👌👌
Thanks for sharing
The only two differences between your car and mine, is that you've got a cowl and I've got a torpedo... And, that yours is running🙂👍
You should Point your exhaust tip on the muffler towards the ground, so the condensation can drain directly out of the exhaust, rather than rotting it out.

Sorry oscar is their any chance you could send me the paint code..I've found the paint but the tin has aqua across the front of it..I notice it was different to the paint you've used..sorry to be a pain..just don't want to buy the wrong one..
Sounds good. Did you keep it?
Yes, in my opinion, it's a future classic
@@OskarsCarsnStuff Amen! And these are hard to come by. It shows the owner doing well in my opinion.
Hi..what paint do you use on your chassis parts
I'm using Teknos Kirjo black
I'm in England so will search online..is that a tractor type paint..trying to build a trike in a similar style to that era..we'll trying...love you're videos..never even sat in a car like the one you're building and I'm 45...you certainly know you're way around it all...looks great..cheers Steve and helene
@@StevenStratford Thanks! It's a steel/iron paint with rust protection.
Cheers,maybe a Christmas present for myself..cheers
Wow..that's so cool...
Vilket skönt ljud! Går hon på 95 med blytillsats?
Kör 98 med ca 4% oljeblandning för lite extra blårök
Blytillsats på en tvåtaktare?
That looks like pure cancer you're pulling out. Make sure to use some PPE
Ja, du har att göra. Skönt utan hysterisk musik..
Nice wideos whitout horrible music. Keep on!!
fix the trunk lid spray the the body with clear coat and drive it
Oskar, at 0:20 what is that cap called? I have the long wishbone like bar but don’t have the little two caps at the end.
Hi, it's called drag link ball cap, you can buy it from langs item number 2728ST
What value Cap did you use.
I ordered mine from Langs, item number 5009, or you can look at Snyders part number T-5007-CAP
Ha már forrasztunk, akkor a biztosítéktáblára menő kábelvégeket is. Azért, hogy a szorítócsavar rácsavarásakor ne sendergesse szét a vezetékvégeket.
Nice video, is the timer shaft get centered, with some tool? Thanks
so where did you get the wheel adapter from ::::
I had them custom made from aluminum plates and wooden wheel hubs.
i want to get mine done also from wood to 6 bolt wheels;;; i have a 1930 plymouth sedan that has 8 bolt pattern now;;; do you have the name of the company that did them thanks
@@darrellmealy6251 I brought the hub and wheel to my local mechanical workshop/machinist here in Sweden and I told them what I wanted to do, they took measurements and then lathed/milled it to fit.
When my Dad was a young man he would buy a model T for 5-15 dollars, get it running and sell it for 25-30. He taught me how to drive one when I was 11 years old. For a long time I wondered why most cars did not have a reverse pedal.
Best video I've seen on Model T transmissions. You showed everything.
