The body does look a bit crusty but I would tackle each bit at a time. It depends on how good you are with a MIG and TIG welder. If you are good it is possible to do almost invisible welds when they are dressed back.

Yeah, there's lots of work to be done, I'm inexperienced with metalworking and welding so I have a lot to learn moving forward.

Good project! But looks like it's easier to build new body instead of restore this) May be once I will buy Model T, but now it's almost impossible because here, in Russia, there is no one of these cars for sale, and to bring it from USA is very very expensive.

I'm not that experienced in metal work to make a whole new body. I can only imagine that it would be difficult to import at current times. You might be lucky to just find one in a shed. somewhere

@@OskarsCarsnStuff To make new body panels is very difficult, of course. I made around 60-70 small patch panels for my last project and it still impossible for me to make big parts of external panels. The main problem for me, to bring the old car from USA - very big tax, I need to pay around 15000$, and with normal salory around 1000-1500$ per month it tooks 10 years to save this money. But I started to save a little) Good luck!

Hi! I was wondering what body you had for your car. Looks like you've got a challenge ahead of you, but I'm sure you'll do a great job! Being in the U.S. I've never seen the European rear fenders; they are very interesting and really different! Think you could find one for the other side? Thanks for the video!

I did do a little bit of research and found a thread with a picture of another European fender from about 10-14 years ago, but the closer I looked i realized that it's actually the same fender. I'm not sure i will find one anytime soon.
