OK! here is a question for You, The three clutch fingers at 6:14, how tight do You tighten these? And how did You adjust these correctly? I want to make sure I have mine right on!
If You do not mind my asking, How old are You? Becau6You look quite Young in Your photo, and I think it is AWESOME for Young folk to work on these Cars! I am not that old myself! It is a labor of love and hate!
Thanks for watching! I'm 28 and have always been around T's, my grandfather owned a few while he was alive and my father inherited the 14 touring my grandfather restored. I really love the sounds, the smells and the feelings when driving a T.
Thank you so much for your very kind and helpful replies! I am the same way about the sound and smell and the overall looks of these Wonderful little Cars! I love almost every style of Model T Ford, the first one I ever drove was a 1920 Center door sedan! I was very impressed with the way it drove and the large beautiful oval rear window!

I used the transmission clutch gap tool, part number T-3339 avaliable from Langs old car parts.
The tool is 13/16 inches or roughly 2.06 cm.
Mycket trevlig film, tusen tack.
This for Me was a BITCH! the magneto and magnets have to be ever so accurate! It is not just install and forget, shims and lots of work go into this!
Hi, if you have not installed this transmission do your self a favor and replace that output shaft
Hi, It just looks bad, the fitment to the driveshaft is very tight with no play whatsoever.
That output shaft is shot
It looks way worse than it is, it makes a solid contact with no play.
I want to see how the u joint fits the out put shaft. The hole in the shaft looks weird. I thought the hole was just a square.
You are correct, this is a little bit damaged but the fit is very tight with no play therefore I deemed it's not necessary to to get a new one.
