  • In this video I test a couple of trembler coils to find 4 usable and then i replace the old condenser with new capacitor and then adjust the current output and finally fill with tar.

    Just wondering if you ever clean the threaded posts and file the points … or replace the points with new ones. Seems like they would run even better with good connections.

      At the moment I'm satisfied with how they run my engine. That said I have only tested the chassis without the body, I might have to look in to getting new points in the future.

    No glue in the crack on the coil box ?

      They sit tightly together in the coilbox and whenever they are taken out is because there is something wrong with them therefore I decided it will be easier to open again if I don't glue them together.

      I ordered mine from Langs, item number 5009, or you can look at Snyders part number T-5007-CAP
