If all of this doesn't work 1. Open device manager 2. Check if something's appearing and disappearing when you connect and disconnect board 3. There may be something like USB to uart with a ! Sign, if that's the case get the 210x driver from silicon labs(google it) Most probably your problem will be solved, hope it helps

Sir mene first time 3 node mcu ko flash kiya wo easyly ho gaye...after 6 to 7 days mene unko programe karne ki kosis ki to wo teeno hi programme nahi ho rahe hai..aur na hi unka fermware update ho raha hai ....jabki com port proper show ho raha hai ...mene frequecy bhi change karke dekh li phir bhi nahi ho pa raha hai

i dont even have a driver folder to select path and , when i installed those driver that u have provided and selected path to the arduino that i have installed(its folder, because drive folder is not showing) still windows shows me error with it. (and 1 mor thing the name of the device is cp2102 usb to UART bridge controller)
