I do the thread bed thing all the time. And if it is DMC I can just shove any left over thread into its floss bag when I am finished. No winding on bobbins for me!

When doing blackcross stitch and white shows through, I cheat and darken the white spots with a pigma pen.

Can you explain/demonstrate how and when you use waxers. I watch all of your videos, so will catch it when you do.🥰

Hi, have you ever tried thread drops? You can pull a strand of 6 out and then there is s small hole for the other strands left. I used to use bobbins and got tired of all of the rewinding. Your painted pumpkin turned out really nice, good job. The snow globe chart is so beautiful. Etsy, here I come.

I have a flannel bundle that I plan to make 10 inch square quilt out of too - I bought it a long time ago and need to get it out. Tell your husband he is not alone with the being the last to get his quilt done - when we were on vacation one year my hubby picked out a dear panel that he wanted me to make a quilt for him with. I did finally get it done but it took me along time LOL Your witch looks great in the solid blocks - I have the pattern and the floss ready to go so I will probably start it next year and I will be doing the same I am thinking. I can not wait to see the new pattern with the Farm House Flossie as I have that color!

I haven't gotten a chance to view many Flosstubes in the last few months, and I really enjoyed your stitching! The projects brought excitement and inspiration. Hopefully, I can get to some more of my own projects. I teach and I just am so busy and exhausted by the end of the day!

Thanksgiving is the perfect holiday: food, friends and family. The table is covered with all the desserts. And no pesky witch banner hanging around, looking for leftovers

I’m obsessed with your Quilted Witch - she’s gorgeous! I couldn’t do the skirt blocks in 2 colors either, but she works beautifully the way you stitched her. Maybe, if I can find her chart somewhere, I’ll get brave enough to attempt stitching her. Brava, you!

I love that idea for small planters, I have that deer and a kitty planter. I’m going to make a couple as my plants died. My house has similar colors to the quilt behind you.

Your painted pumpkin turned out pretty cute! I appreciate that about you, Artie. That you put yourself out there with a very genuine "what you see is what you get" attitude. Nothing phony. You're a wonderful example and it encourages people not to be afraid to try something new. I've personally lost my stitching mojo. I've been doing some crochet, instead. But I still tune in to catch up with what you've been doing. Hoping to get back into cross stitch this winter when we're under a blanket of snow. The hunting season comments made me chuckle. So true! The hunters are gone, it's time to craft and shop! 😅

I love the skirt with one color. It looks so good. I am glad we threw that idea out there. Soooooo good.

Wyocki is absolutely my favorite! A few years back, I stumbled across an estate sale where every wall was FULL of finished Dimensions and Wysocki kits. I can't even imagine how many hours of work that represents (finally occured to me later that they might be shop models -- but still, someone did hundreds if not thousands of hours of stitching!)
