I can only work on one project at a time so that Christmas scene I could get done in a month or so. I love those large complicated projects. We got snow on Christmas Day and it’s almost all melted now in Omaha. Happy new year
Of course put up the snowmen! We are in Texas and rarely have snow. But we won’t deny ourselves the fun of putting out our snowmen and cowboy snowmen in the cold winter. Its all seasonal fun, no matter what the circumstances.

Yes, put the snow stuff out maybe the snow gods will smile down at us finally and say they need to some of the real stuff to go with that. I'm loving how the old and crusty fabric is looking with your stitches. The LucaS kit is looking doable for you. Lots of red, do a page at a time, and with a working copy instead of highlighting the stitches you have done, highlight the symbol you are working on. I'm loving my Zamat pillow and neck thingy. I think you should definitely put the snowman and winter decorations out. We haven't had a white Christmas since 1969 and I still decorate for winter in hopes that we might get something other than rain.

I haven't seen the other side of midnight of a New Year's Eve out on the town either. I have celebrated the New Year in my sewing room, stitching out the old and in the new! Your LucaS Christmas kit is beautiful. You'll have to pick a couple day a month or pick 1 week a month to work on it, it's not a marathon stitch, it's a masterpiece so it will take awhile.
Here in central Ontario, we too have no snow. It’s been drizzly, grey, foggy. Not very Christmasy for those used to white Christmas’ s. Glad you had a wonderful Chriistmas. Kelly came home the 26th from England, and will be here a month. She’s in England on a 2 year youth visa, and has a year and a half left. We have the same "snowless" problem here in Northern Minnesota. The snowmobiles are gathering dust. The guys are chomping at the bit. Our grass is greening up and we actually had a night crawler on our sidewalk a couple days ago. Crazy.
