Game changing. The mid-air attack idea makes so much sense, this whole time I've kept thinking "wow those missile thingies are really weak is this really his core DPS?" but this explains everything.

He's the BEST character for HOLOGRAM 6 for skill issue oeopke

Something to note also, when you have *5 forte stacks, make sure to stay in the mist form a bit longer so he uses all of his stacks.

Gosh! The numbers on the screen just kept popping.... 900, 5K, 3K, 4K.... all at high speed. Not sure I like his playstyle. Any of them. But it certainly is proof that undervalued characters CAN be effective and rrlatively easy to use. Thanks for the guide.

The only thing i hated kuro did was putting a bonus damage scale on his heavy that a waste of upgrade should have put it on mid air attacks cause 90% of the time thats where you attack

Aalto is super fun. Love using grapple and green heron to keep him in the air. It’s also super fun to watch Holo bosses attack literal air.

HOT TAKE: if they never try or optimize all the characters, they should not make tier list. Or at least, there should be a column written "Don't know enough" Those absolute clueless people making tier list just painted characters with mechanic such as Calcharo, Aalto, Lingyang, and Chixia way below what they should be. Absolute bum of people.

Hell yes!!! So glad for this, Aalto has been my day 1 favorite and have him s5. I use him more than my Jiyan🤣

It would be really nice if Kuro gave us a better training module. Kinda like you'd have for Super smash bros, Soul Calibur, and other fighting games with combos. The current training ground is nice, but feels so basic, you'd have to resort to writing down the combos they teach you and the practice with motionless enemies. Not awful, but definitely doesn't allow for the level of practice and experimentation required to master a character like Alto or the fire bird lady.
