Ugh, thank you sooooooo much for this detailed guide, Senpai!!!! 💖💖 Please, make more!!! I could barely find content like this, deep dive into the character, rotations and stuff like it. Really missing it.
One of the best guides I've ever watched. Super detailed and informative. Honestly, I watched this last night but got caught up using Camellya with the new techs.
You can do much more with Crownless before she uses her liberation > Intro > Plunge > E (to gain ground) > Crownless animation cancel > Liberation. Simple 12% havoc % skill damage boost that takes 0 sec, I used Camellya on the Overdrive Zone with S0R1 on the (Fallacy Stage) in 76 seconds with my optimized rotation :D got the vid uploaded if you wanna take a peek.
I like that you play on controller, I feel like a lot of people underestimate how good this game feels on controller. It seriously made the game so much more fun to me when I switched.
It definitely does boil down to preferences. I stared off with controller but the more I played to more I found controller to be clunky. Switching to MnK felt more comfortable for me.
This the only unique rotation so far I've seen. Others are just simple and traditional. This one is actually harder to pull off on mobile too and longer making Shorekeeper's ult duration a bit lacking for her enhanced intro. It's inconsistent but when you pull it off it's rewarding. Very nice video.
Best guide I found. The naming of skills and energy in this game is very confusing, despite that this guide is pretty straighforward and simple. Slow motion parts do help a lot.
this makes so much sense! i have been clearing the content with my camellya but for the investment ive put, i should be clearing it so much sooner. Thank you!
So far i've found that her spinny move on white haired form does better single target damage than the big aoe spin, and she sticks to the enemy while doing it. I've been playing her swapping between both forms, the skill does ok damage and that way she builds concerto faster.
Many supports and other sources of atk% also exist which have similar diminishing returns. Element% is much rarer by comparison, as you invest more into a char and if you have addiitonal sequences on sub dps you'll end up wanting havoc% anyways even with sig weapon for endgame
That was super insightful, i knew the basics of how she works but the fine tuning of Shorekeeper-Camellya-Sanhua-Camellya rotation makes so much more sense now that i watched your video. I did standard rotation of Shorekeeper-Sanhua-Camellya until now, but due to how much time it takes for Camellya to get full concerto and then do her nuke+spin in red mode Sanhua buff is long expired by that point. Still... Due to all havoc buffs in 1st part of Tower of Adversity i had no issues getting 12 stars even with non-optimal rotation. No reason not to practice a more optimal rotation for next tower tho :)
Thanks 🫠 Finally i can try overdrive zone😭 Tried many times against scar but couldn't make it in time always 10%hp left 🙄 With this rotation i did it in 4min 😀 Same sanhua team Ult from 20k_30k to 45k Skill explosion from 40k to 70k Spinning dmg from 900_1100 to 1800
yeah, to maximize the time of sanhua's buff with EOG and her kit, you'll need to make sure sanhua's basic attack 5 times, liberation + skill + forte + intro to camellya. but please make sure camellya has 10 stack of her crimson pistil (red logo with fire) before swapping to sanhua to do the combo above.
Hey man i saw some guides talking about her base form with white hair, apparently it gets the DMG buff from her 10 stacks + her special budding mode which makes her "spin to win" attack in base form her strongest attack since it has higher multipliers than blazing waltz. This was covered by Gacha smack in a video if you wanna check it out and confirm what he said.
I have seen that video😄 but I didn’t wanna leave any comment that might come across as negative because of my position as a content creator. What he said is indeed fact if you only take pruning( white hair mode spin) and blazing waltz( red hair mode spin) into consideration. But that becomes a problem because he’s ignoring all the other multipliers. Total multiplier of the white hair mode gives you 1688.11% while the red hair mode gives you 1814.91%. Hence, red hair mode or blossom mode always wins giving you more damage overall
@@jackjohnson8305 happy to help. Also keep in mind that red hair mode gives you the ability to dodge and do dodge counter damage but in white, hair mode, if you air dash, you have to plunge and do it all over again so red hair mode gives you comfort
Its quite complex when i only listening, but as soon as put on practice, turn out its really easy xD Thx man, this help a lot like ur calcharo guide back then
And here i am playing camellya just like jinhsi and pray that her nuke will crit lol. Luckily i got my s2r1 camellya. I probably need to save for jinhsi sequence next so i can beat tower without using brain anymore
I basically do your rotation but instead of Dreamless, I use Crownless. By the time her concerto energy is about to be full, I use her resonance skill then swap to Sanhua to force Camellya to land instead of staying airborne. Once Sanhua's concerto is full, intro to Camellya but this is where my rotation change... instead of using ult asap, I Intro > plunge > echo > dodge cancel > Ult > then the rest of her rotation. I believe the buff Crownless gives outperform Dreamless but I have no math to back it up so take it with a grain of salt
This is exactly what I do too. Works pretty great. I dont even use a healer (since I use Verina for Jinshi, Baizhi for Xiangli Yao, dont feel Youhu is good, and dont have SK).
I didn’t face this issue but you can tweak the rotation a little bit to prevent that with minimal dps loss. After the first intro from your healer, try to consume about half of the crimson pistil stacks and then intro to camellya again from Sanhua. After the intro, consume the rest and then enter budding mode. This also allows you to keep Sanhua’s buff for the longest possible time before Camellya’s concerto energy gets full
the question I have is if it is actually more dps to do double intro or not. her buffed state does more damage this way, sure, but then her first half of rotation isnt buffed. given the amount of attack and damage buffs in the blooming state does it not give a degree of diminished returns to get Sanhua's buff for that portion of the rotation vs the first half of it anyway? Seems the extra swaps makes it more convoluted, giving Sanhua more field time, and only serves to further backload her damage.
Yeah, it doesn't make sense to miss out on Sanhua's buffs for that long. 22.5% attack from moonlit 5p, 12% damage from Heron, 38% basic attack deepen, and an extra 20% attack on Sanhua S6 if you've got it, in like 4 seconds flat. All that missing for an entire Camellya rotation? No thanks
Good point but that’s only if you can squeeze the the non budding mode and the budding mode in sanhua’s 14s outro buff. The damage will also be minimal because you won’t have the 50% basic attack scaling multiplier when she’s not in budding mode after the intro from sanhua. I tested it and realised that it’s not worth it but try it out and let me know your feedback. It’s always better to start doing damage after you’ve stacked up every possible buff to deal high damage over a short period of time with less on field time as much as possible. That’s how you get faster clear times in the tower. Hope this helps
Glad you found my video😄. Plunge is when you press the attack button while you’re in mid air. Most characters will drop down and attack when they land on the ground. That’s plunge attack. Other characters will perform basic attacks in mid air like Verina if you spam it. But if you hold it, she will plunge as well
Her liberation has its own special animation which will interrupt anything you do. That’s why it’s better to cast her liberation first, start her heavy attack animation and then cast her skill when she vanishes to detonate both at the same time
@@itssenpai626 her liberation doesnt interrupt forte gauge as long as you hold LMB, it just pauses it where its left and resumes after interface appears again
Also, i noticed this while playing her. What's the use of her forte bar? I only prioritized her concerto to deal massive damage on her skill and forgot about her forte. It was convoluted and even when i try to experiment with it it did nothing to change my damage.
@@ReyneAutumn so when you intro with her, she gains full forte. When you attack the enemy with basic attacks, heavy attacks and skills( except ephemeral), you gain concerto energy , 50 basic attacks scaling bonus and resonance energy. When concerto is full, you can use ephemeral kill and enter budding mode to make use of the 50% basic attack scaling
I think this rotation is better by getting the stacks in white mode and filling sanhua's concerto immediately Verina: ER ---> Sanhua: ER Heavy ---> Verina: auto outro Camellya: plunge, auto (white), Q (you get 8 stacks here and its much easier to land the hits in white mode) Verina: Q ---> Sanhua: Q outro Camellya: auto twice for 10 stacks, R, E, E, auto (red), E, outro
Great vid! Now can you teach me how to increase my luck on echo stat rolls cause I think im pretty bad at rolling double crit stats 😂 Keep up the good work
I love this game, and I'm terrible at the combat. I am button mashing and I'm annihilating every single coming my way. I need to go for the Hologram bosses, but right now I think she is broken. A lot more than Jinhsi.
not me keep seeking guides because i often look at her acrobatic movement, getting distracted from actually doing her rotation, and think i should try that kind of movement too. very yoga (lol). #InsanityYoga
showcase of combat mechanics and rotations is useless without explaining the HOWs and WHYs, which is explained in much detail here, ill follow you for future units these types of guides helps us in optimizing our own rotations depending on situation if we know why these rotations are done the way they are done
You see, I would use this rotation, but for some reason I have a feeling that I will need at least another 7 or 8 fingers to pull that off. While I'm working on growing them, I'll just use unga bunga rotation XD
Some TCs are saying that to activate one of her passives,(the one which gives 15 Havoc dmg% and converts her plunge to basic attack) you have to plunge once to get the Havoc DMG%. Is this true by chance? I personally don't think so but does anyone know for sure?
Yeah it seems so. I just checked her stats and she’s supposed to have 100 havoc bonus without the 40 from the 5 piece set. It seems that you have to do pruning( normal heavy attack before she can get the other 15% havoc bonus)
@@blazikenfury8852 okay i figured it out. One of the passives is supposed to be basic attack bonus while one is supposed to be havoc damage bonus. So one of them is written wrong
i use her R1 signature and im getting ephimeral dmg: 249k with 75 crit rate 250 crit dmg 2505 attack 15 basic attack bonus 115 havoc dmg bonus with 4 piece active
May I ask you which controller you are using? Great Video as always. I just cannot understand why you only have 4700 Subscribers. Keep on and don't give up
8:08 Just one question. When in Budding mode, you just need to spin to win to deal massive damage. Once her concerto energy gets full and crimson pistils depleted, why does she need to cast a skill instead of just switching to the healer? Edit: Okay I get it now. The skill is to fill up the remaining Concerto energy needed for her to Outro. I was under the impression that depleting her crimson pistil full bar will fill up the Concerto energy in full. You explained it very well. Thanks!
@@Zer0Perplexityyeah and sometimes even before release day already builds I think always, visual rotation guide maybe not in the future anymore cuz of how leaks are handled now so no idea how he doesnt find rotation guides
@itssenpai626 ooh i see... Nice vids by the way. Good explanation and easy to do as always. BTW my lingyang already rockin in overdrive tower. He's worth it. 👍🏼
@@itssenpai626 you already prove it he does his job very well. I need get used to use his basic attack and combo skill sequence so i dont break his combo. But still he's so easy to play. And give decent damage even not with SK. Xiangli yao weapon is very good for him. Thx for advice
This is really good. I need to revisit this once I have some time to really try her out properly. A lot of the guides I'd seen so far just have her spin2win forever, but this is a clear demonstration of how to get your sub dps buffs on to the most impactful part of her rotation. I'd love to see more discussion on diminishing returns as it relates to crit rate / dmg and atk% / dmg %. I get that it's a very min-max thing and the amount you gain out of it is probably very minimal, but since you seem to make pretty advanced guides, maybe it's up your alley. One question. I see your build uses Dreamless there's a lot of takes between that and Crownless. In your estimation, is Crownless just not as good? I figure you would echo cancel after the liberation before you go into Ephemeral, but is it maybe not worth it? Again, the difference between the two is probably minimal. Just curious to see if you had some thoughts.
Don’t know if I missed the explanation but why do you only apply sanhua’s buff to camellya’s budding phase? I’ve seen other tc do the straightforward sanhua into camellya, 25s rotation without pre-loading her pistils. How does your rotation improve on those rotations?
It helps keeps sanhua’s buff for the longest possible time while you’re in budding mode. Doing the normal or straight forward rotation does not guarantee that sanhua’s buff will last throughout consuming crimson pistils and entering budding mode to do majority of her damage. It takes about 9-10 seconds for camellya to consume all the pistils giving you less time to do the damage that matters the most in her budding mode. So whenever you see other videos, always check the health bar to see if they can maintain sanhua’s buff throughout the budding mode duration. if they can, consider that rotation as optimal👍🏽
Im in a little bit of a confused state rn, should i pull for yinlin? Is it worth it, if lets say a dedicated support for camy comes in 2.0? Im on guaranteed rn. What would you do? I could save up for 2.0 character and get em or pull yinlin and save up for a 50/50. Is yinlin gonna be good for my account? I have a c3 calcharo, so im thinking what if i use him as the sub dps.
For me, I'll always prioritise something that I'm missing in my account/team first, for example; if I don't have enough pull, I'll skip Zhezhi for Shorekeeper because Jinhsi team can work just fine with only Yuanwu and having second reliable support is more important in that case. You can decide later after we get more information about next update and resonator. Yinlin's banner will ends on first January next year, you have enough time.
Yinlin is a dedicated support so her value will depend on what teams you play. If you play calcharo, xiangli yao or Jinshi, getting her will help your account but if you pulled zhezhi, then you don’t need yinlin for jinshi. Yinlin also has good personal damage so it increases your team’s overall damage as well. However, if yours only interested in buffing your main dps like calcharo and xiangli yao, then jianxin will be okay only if you are comfortable with her playstyle since she buffs liberation damage.
S2 shorekeeper provides 40% attack. Considering the fact that you will get attack from multiple sources as well, running attack + havoc bonus should yield better damage if you have her weapon but this only in theory. Per my understanding, attack does not hit diminishing returns early compared to percentage buffs like havoc damage bonuses but any additional 100% of a percentage bonus except crit damage gives you 50% less of its effect. That’s why it’s better to get a bit of everything like amplification, crit, damage bonuses, and basic attack damage bonuses. I’m working on a video that will address this soon
It’s a little bit different than the demo they gave us in the developer note so no I don’t think it’s similar to quickswaps. I have played the event and it seems all your characters are on the field at the same time so you only get to play one character and you can’t switch which is opposite of how the game is actually played. I highly doubt that this kind of play-style will be implemented in the main mechanics of the game. I’ll make a video about it so look forward to it
I've tried it and it messes with shorekeeper's timings since you're doing your camellya combos "too fast" now lol. This probably works better on Verina
So there was a slight error from kurogames concerning Camellya’s kit. Her inherent passives was supposed to give you 30% havoc damage bonus early on upon release but it was supposed to be 15% basic attack bonus and 15% havoc bonus instead.
@@LuZErTX I see. Thanks for sharing. I’ll test it out
Also, i noticed this while playing her.
Cost me 33k astrite 😢 for camellya and her signature but still worth it❤
I think this rotation is better by getting the stacks in white mode and filling sanhua's concerto immediately
Verina: ER ---> Sanhua: ER Heavy ---> Verina: auto outro
Camellya: plunge, auto (white), Q (you get 8 stacks here and its much easier to land the hits in white mode)
Verina: Q ---> Sanhua: Q outro
Camellya: auto twice for 10 stacks, R, E, E, auto (red), E, outro
E is skill, R is ult, Q is echo skill (pc keys)
white mode basics just deal more damage, never swap to skill mode
Great vid! Now can you teach me how to increase my luck on echo stat rolls cause I think im pretty bad at rolling double crit stats 😂
Keep up the good work
can I clear the level 100 boss with level 80 characters UL-51?? I already did the 90 ones
@@adityashankarrai5365 You can if you have a good investment
I love this game, and I'm terrible at the combat. I am button mashing and I'm annihilating every single coming my way. I need to go for the Hologram bosses, but right now I think she is broken. A lot more than Jinhsi.
What is this song? Is it a remix of Vivaldi-Winter?
Yes. It’s Kafka’s theme song from honkai star rail
not me keep seeking guides because i often look at her acrobatic movement, getting distracted from actually doing her rotation, and think i should try that kind of movement too. very yoga (lol). #InsanityYoga
Sure😄
showcase of combat mechanics and rotations is useless without explaining the HOWs and WHYs, which is explained in much detail here, ill follow you for future units
these types of guides helps us in optimizing our own rotations depending on situation if we know why these rotations are done the way they are done
I’m glad you found my video useful and welcome aboard❤️
You see, I would use this rotation, but for some reason I have a feeling that I will need at least another 7 or 8 fingers to pull that off. While I'm working on growing them, I'll just use unga bunga rotation XD
😄
Interesting set up, I tried it myself but the clear time is more or less the same + - 5 -10 seconds.
@@blazikenfury8852 I just tested it out. I can’t get the total 30% from the passive for some reason. I only get 15%. It’s very strange
@@blazikenfury8852 send me a link to the video that talked about this issue
@@blazikenfury8852 okay i figured it out. One of the passives is supposed to be basic attack bonus while one is supposed to be havoc damage bonus. So one of them is written wrong
i use her R1 signature and im getting ephimeral dmg: 249k
with 75 crit rate 250 crit dmg 2505 attack 15 basic attack bonus 115 havoc dmg bonus with 4 piece active
May I ask you which controller you are using? Great Video as always. I just cannot understand why you only have 4700 Subscribers. Keep on and don't give up
Thanks. I use an Xbox one controller

Just one question.
Thanks!
Its too difficult to find rotations guides.
But i know i can akways rely on senpai
pretty sure there is always rotation guides for the new chars.
did u check out other channels in the past ?
Yeah pretty much the day they release a character there's rotation guides. They're usually included with build guides though.
@@Zer0Perplexityyeah and sometimes even before release day already
builds I think always, visual rotation guide maybe not in the future anymore cuz of how leaks are handled now
so no idea how he doesnt find rotation guides
I don’t understand why people need to do this honestly. Why the need to praise a cc by lying or putting other cc down

U dont try with chang li weapon? I wonder how much different.
I don’t have that weapon yet but it should give you a bit higher damage than the emerald of genesis
@itssenpai626 ooh i see... Nice vids by the way. Good explanation and easy to do as always. BTW my lingyang already rockin in overdrive tower. He's worth it. 👍🏼
@@Faikarrr yep. People who don’t like playing him haven’t actually played him yet😄
Does this work in S0 Sk? seems to be a very lengthy rotation for her buff to keep up
My SK is S0
I had 140 pulls saved and i got her at 30 pity then bought the 7 free weapon banner pulls from the shop and got her weapon on the 7th 😂
Fix her? No, Camellya will break you and fix you right up 🥰😘
I ned to know how to play Sanhua. Call it skill issue or plain laziness but i genuinely dont know what she does and what to do with her

If your looking for the most meta char it’s probably jihnsi, otherwise I think Camelya is currently one of the strongest characters.
@Sleepystumparknights I have both, I'm just wondering if I should go for flexible sub dps yinlin or the future camy support
@@itssenpai626 I see, Thank you sm
What they never told you about camellya is the fact that she is my wife

Crazy?
Thanks for sharing your wife
In theory, if you have shorekeeper s2 + sig, is it still worth to have Atk main stat on one of cost 3 echo? TIA!
@@itssenpai626 thanks for the reply! looking for that next video comparison, the best!
So after playing Dream Link, what do you think of it? Is it similar to quickswaps? 🤔
I’ll make a video about it so look forward to it
@@itssenpai626 Nice 🔥
I've tried it and it messes with shorekeeper's timings since you're doing your camellya combos "too fast" now lol. This probably works better on Verina
Can I swap with verina and still do the same rotation?
Yes. Verina is much faster than Shorekeeper so you will have a faster rotation overall
