I've tried many of these home remedies. The concentrate Weed Killer products do a better job for it sinks down to the actual ....ROOT OF THE WEED ! Try these Home DIY remedies and test both Chemical Concentrates vs Home Remedies. Good Luck

or . . . try the easy "hack" if you will. Put a couple inches of painters tape where you were putting paint sticks etc - it stays put and lets air in so easy to pull apart :-)

In our country rosemary is planted as hedges. It grows to over 5 meters high, and has no problem with 45 celcius or snow.

The red cup would filter out the some of the red light, hence why the cup is red. So that's the opposite of what you want if you just want red light.

He does show a sprayed area around 13:00. He says that the driveway had various plants growing up and he had sprayed them. Then he shows more of similar gravel areas that need sprayed. And wow, why are people so rude and downright mean over weed spray? Precautions are one thing, but insults really only shine badly on the one saying them.

Thank you - this is SOOOO helpful! I've had a few hostas in my garden for decades but now that I'm retired, I'm expanding selection and propagating for sale. They've been in the ground in central NC red clay and the hostas never grew beyond quart or gallon size. I had no idea they were struggling in the heavy soil. And I've never fertilized them (shame shame). I'd like to grow some giant hostas and your tips will get me started on a good foot. I'm an urban permaculture gardener now and keep chickens so I'll be using my homemade compost made of oak+maple leaves, grass clippings, chicken manure and peat moss. I'm not trusting commercial compost with mounting evidence that herbicides like Grazon are killing entire vegetable crops and is showing up in cow or horse manure (from pastures). p.s. I LOVE the image of your head above that giant hosta - that should be on your thumbnail, lol.

I have 2 dogs that spend a lot of time in my backyard and I just don't want to use round up to spray the weeds that pop up around the fence. 2 questions for you, please: 1) do you have any idea how long the solution can be held if it's not used completely on the first application, and 2) when I use Epsom salts to soak my feet I heat up water in the instant pot and dissolve the salt in the hot water - that really does a great job of getting the salt into solution. Would that be a problem with this formulation if you start with warm water mix?

Adding gravel, broken pottery, etc to the bottom or the container to aid in drainage is a myth. Not only does it not help drainage, it actually hurts drainage. The best thing I've found to block the holes in the bottom of my pot is fiberglass mesh tape used for drywall. Just cut to the size you need off of the roll and stick it over the hole! Cheers!

Roundup is killing off pollinators. It should be illegal!!! If we don't have bees to pollinate, we don't have food. Also the reduction in insects reduces the food supply for birds.

3:15 wash, 6:05 dry, 8:20 cook eggshells @250 for 2 hours. (Helps release important minerals). 10:50 mix 1 part powder to 10 parts vinegar (by weight). 14:00 let soak for 7-10 days. Expect much expansion. 15:05 add 1 oz mix to 1 gallon water. Mist leaves or soak roots. Use every 2 weeks during flowering (I think is what he said). Don’t liquify more powder than you can use in 2 weeks. Use on Tomatoes and cucumbers.

What a good idea. However my concern is that all the pots I’ve found are made in china. I don’t approve of their regulations and would be nervous to cook with it. However maybe a local pottery maker would be happy to help I’m sure❤

Thank you for sharing your recipe for weeds. I took love cat tails but I'm so allergic to them. My allergies kick in when they go to the flying fluff stage. Lol
