You can probably remove the knob from the electric plate, use a small set screw and run a small tube to the outside of the pot that you can use to be able to adjust the temperature.
Excellent! Did you have any issues with the oven high temp sealant you placed around the rim? It didn’t look like it was in place during the cooking demonstration.
Couldn't you also use that with just the heating burner and no charcoal or wood as a greenhouse heater? The rest the same smoker build instead of the terrain cottage tower and crisco?
What a good idea. However my concern is that all the pots I’ve found are made in china. I don’t approve of their regulations and would be nervous to cook with it. However maybe a local pottery maker would be happy to help I’m sure❤
@@grayrecluse7496 Not if they don't carry the things I need. If I can't buy and item because they don't or won't carry it, it is not my fault. That's just their inventory. I've spent entire days wasted driving around (when I had a car) trying to buy everything I needed from local B&M stores, wasted gas, wasted time, and end up having to order it online anyway. What is really killing B&M stores is choosing Large Sellers like Walmart instead to buy the same common items.
I had the terra cotta many years in storage. So yes I think they might be more expensive new. Second hand shops and used material will bring cost down. Being frugal is part of my nature.
WHY are you not writing USAmerican ONLY channel, OR starting to use the METRIC System.... its really not Rocket Science, you are having 10 fingers rightß The whole Metric system is based on 10 stupid Inch, Feet and Mile crap, Fahrenheit and Gallons instead of Celsius and Liter. +-0 `Ice +-100C Water boiling - (at sealevel)
I’d recommend using baking pans and grates that do not have non stick coating. They release toxic chemicals when heated too high.

This is an excellent video. Thank you
Thanks for sharing. I’m gonna have to make one.
Hope you enjoy
Nice that's pretty cool I'm gonna have to make me one. 15:37
Love this idea! Thank you from Boston
You are so welcome! Happy gardening

I should have cleaned the pot rim dust caused the adhesive to stick less than it should. After cleaning it worked better.
Could you re-enforce the pot with a fire cement and a secondary perlite jacket?
❤

Pefhaps
What is the diameter of your terracotta pots?
Depends on how big you want to make it… cheers
Why not use a glazed pot?
So I can get sand from the beach is that ok
Absolutely
Why electric? Why not just light the coals as normal? Is it for continuous particular temperature?
Some apartment or condominium complexes don’t allow open flame.
So you have outdoor versions?
👍👍💞

Where are you seeing Kamad0 grills less than $299? at yard sales or discount thrift stores? All the prices online the cheapest is $300.
Perhaps change the title to "under $100" ... love the idea so looked up the pieces .... yeah, gonna be closer to $100 without shipping.

I convert measurements all the time **without ranting,** because I work in a mixed Imperial/metric world.
I adapt. If you can't, that's on you.
