But I don't like to tell people what they should do. Espicially with your $. Why I don't take sponsorships, or offer affiliate links, or even ask people to subscribe. I just want to share the hobby, not be a salesman haha. But they're both great. I will admit I'm a arrma guy, doesn't mean I don't like traxxas. I own them and will buy more in the future. Nice! That batt must make a big difference. I always go on the cheaper side with batteries, sounds like a need to change that up haha

@@SketchRC- With batteries that have lower IR the voltage drop under load is less hence more speed. I started off buying some Hoovo and Zeee batteries off of Amazon and was less than pleased with the performance. So far I really am pleased with the CNHL 90C batteries, they are a good balance between performance and price. I am using the 6S CNHL 5200mah 90C racing batteries in my Kraton EXB and the 9500mah 4S in my 8S Kraton EXB. They even out perform a set of Gens Ace Basher Pro batteries I have that cost me twice as much. The real good batteries that racers use with extremely low IR are above my price range, so these have been the best I have found at a good price point. The CNHL 120C hard case batteries I have seen mixed reviews about so I haven't tried a set of them yet but may try a set next season. I really enjoy your channel btw. 👍

Yeah I think 6S 1/8 scale is overall the sweet spot. I do enjoy the two electric 1/5 scales I have, but they are a bit less convenient all things considered.

I just bought the Outcast EXB RTR to join my 6s and 8s Kraton EXBs. I hope to get out and try it today.

@@Doug_Morgan All i did was add some stone guards and turn the punch to 7. I use 9000MAH zees in it.

@@spenn2007 I upped the punch to 7 already as I did to my Kraton. Also have the brake upped to 62.5%.

Lol it's wicked! One of the few trucks I've owned where it needs nothing. I'll look into those you mentioned. It's a rocket tank! Haha

Maybe to you, but I'll trust my experience with 2 strokes and Doug Johns the owner of ESP performance on that. He actually recommends 20:1 no less than 25:1.
