    You got a great deal, my brother. You can always put another motor in it and keep it going. As a matter of fact.Taylor RC has some of the best. Send it bro! He probably just want it out because it can get expensive but honestly this truck dont break often.

      I might look into one down the road. Indod the esp g340 build and pretty satisfied with it. Just got a 30DN body. It's definitely a tank. Crazy how it's one of the most durable rcs I have yet the heaviest and biggest 😆

      @@SketchRC- when you get your g340 motor make sure you pick up the lower billet aluminum reed case setup. dave discount motors / DDM sells it. Trust me bro you will thank me later 😁🕹🛻

    $800?!?!? Wow bro, what a steal!!

    Man, you are going off LOL buying up all the best stuff! Again, you're purchasing RC's you can keep for decades. I looked into getting one of these two weeks and Horizon stated there won't be any ready until October of this year. My LBH is going to order a DBLXE, i transitioned careers and got a large salary increase, i gotta stay ahead of my wife so she can't bitch.

      Lol I couldn't pass this one up!! Been years I've wanted one and like you had a career change and thankfully can afford things like this now.

    You got a legit steal brother! I wish i could find an awesome deal like that but right now i'm in the middle of several projects but have always wanted a 5ive-T 2.0 since i first saw one at my local hobby shop a few years ago. But the cost is something i have a hard time to commit saving up for i also would electric convert mine later on down the road although i will run it stock gas for awhile and see if gas is for me or if i should make it a Max 4\560kv 12s brushless beast.

    That part you saw in the bag is a plate extension it allows you to put a 360 degree pull start on. You have to put an extension shaft on the fly wheel and put the clutch on. Rovan RC has them for Their website. easy starters pull start.

      You are welcome bro. In my experience with these motors.... my biggest issue has been the pull start. Find you some good high quality pull starts because the string is going to snap and the coil and it will frustrate you. It never happens when you are driving the truck. It always happens when your about to start it up. Have fun. You got the deal of a lifetime.

    • @SketchRC-
      @SketchRC-  26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @portcitygrady lol I already replaced it because this exact issue. After the rebuild think the higher compression caused it. I ordered a spare just in case.

    Go no more than 1/2 throttle for 2 tanks, give it hr break between those 2 tanks and your golden. Heat cycles have probably been done if it's had a full tank through it already 👌, great buy too, welcome fellow 5ter

    The black midplate is for the easy start pull cord. Would also be putting a remote kill switch on it. Runaways are a real thing and not fun.

      @SketchRC- what brand of kill switch did you go with if I might ask. I have found that the triton kill switches from primal rc are great to use. I have half a dozen of the dynamite brand ones and have had too many fail on me. I have done a couple of videos on them. "LNS-KUSTOMS " on youtube is my channel.

    I would take that deal in a heartbeat. Even if the motor was toast. First thing I'd do is order the conversion kit and spend all that money i saved on a Max 4 650kv combo. Those trucks are crazy on 12s. I'll run across mine one day.

    • @SketchRC-
      @SketchRC-  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Exactly! Why I didn't even care that he didn't start it. But it turned out nothing was even wrong with it!! Honest man!

    • @SebastianLong
      @SebastianLong 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Dont electric convert it. The gas engine will run 3 hours with a 2s 5000mah lipo. Mine has a pipe and a velocity stack. I run mine on a 7200 mah Killer RC lipo. 3 sessions of 45 minutes (timer on my transmitter) and after 45 minutes it has 1/4 tank left. After the 3 sessions my lipo typically reads 3.9 volts per cell.
      On an electric conversion, you'll get max 15 minutes.

    25:1 is way to much oil for these engines you can run 50:1with using amsoil with no issues and way better for these engines ive checked after running and still plenty of oil.

      After finishing the break in, I went to 32:1.

    • @boduke9428

      I've always ran 50:1 in my Banshee's after breaking them in on a couple tanks of 32:1. Love the smell of Castor 927 and leaded gas. I'd think the smaller engines would be the same. I always ran the same gas in my trimmers and saws before I went electric. It worked great in them also.
