I used to have a Baja 5B that I hopped up with a bigger engine and a bunch of other stuff. It ended up weighing about 35 lbs but went like stink. Same issue that it needed a huge area to run it and it was so loud. Not something I could run here in town without pissing everyone off.
That was awesome, you got this vid out way faster than expected. What do you think you were hitting on the straights, 35+ it seemed? I know nothing about gas engines, do they still run the same needle setup as nitro? Sorry for the questions, just more curious and excited, haha!
Probably, it's hard to tell due to its size. I'll do a speed test next weekend with it. It's pretty simple, easier than nitro to me. Has 2 needles. One low end and one high end. Very similar to other small 2 strokes, just the carb is slightly different.
I live in a track homes in california & have a loud pipe on mine no silencer haha i wonder how much i break the sound db by.. Get a pipe & aftermarket airfilter it will wake that thing up 🤙🏁🏁
