Thank you!! This is one is zipper free so you can avoid them one more time haha 😜 I do using pinking shears. I didn’t have a serger for my first year of sewing and I found that they work really well. I I often cut out my patterns with pinking shears just to save myself the hastle of dealing with any fraying while I’m working. 😊❤️

Metal boning can be dry cleaned or spot cleaned. You are correct about the rusting! It’s definitely only preferable for items that don’t need to be laundered often or that would already require that kind of washing like this old fragile tapestry. 😊❤️

Hi! I love finding fabric at thrift stores the most, definitely check your local shops. In person I go to JoAnn or Hobby Lobby since I don’t have any local shops where I live. But some great small business fabric stores that you can order from online are Blackbird Fabrics or Salt Lake Sewciety. 😊❤️
