Why is there no bn5 pvp scene? Everything I see is bn6. I love 6 and I can see why it's so popular for pvp. Though the game is extremely easy compared to the rest of the series, the tools it gives you in regards to chips, crosses, beasts and an even more customizable navi cust system, make it a very strategic and entertaining pvp experience. Though I've never actually played pvp with 5 or 6 I've watched a lot and am trying to finish the postgame and get everything I need so I can participate in the bn6 pvp scene in the near future. However, I just don't understand why 5 is not popular like at all for pvp. It seems to me that there are just as many interesting mechanics and it has the more modern amenities such as time freeze counters and souls unison that make it more interesting ans strategic compared to 1 through 3 where it basically comes down to whoever can press a the fastest. Curious if anyone has any insight into why 5 is not popular at all strictly speaking for pvp. Thanks!

I never dabbled with Dark Chips when I played through Megaman Battle Network 4: Blue Moon. The only point in the game where you have to use a Dark Chip at all is when you fight Shademan, who has taken over the Vampire Toy Robo.

That's a nice Heat/Elec/Charge/Aqua/Tomahawk Cross you got there. Would be a shame if someone... decrossed it.

I always find it difficult to press B while holding the A button. In MMBN3 I could reliably do Life Sword, but still can't do the ones that require pressing B.

Do you have a video for begginers folders? I just started rockman exe 5 proto, and having trouble getting rewards from liberations Yesterday I farmed some s chips and my damage improved a lot

I think is a nice build. Although, considering his worst matches, having Elemental Trap is a good idea so you can paralyze them back.

Don't Elec Styles also let you ignore Magnet Panels in BN2? I honestly dunno can't remember because generally if I got an Elec Style I just wouldn't use it.

This is a really great build! Even though you got curbstomped by Elec Navis- The 4.5 patch always looked incredibly fun. Hopefully I can get my hands on a (totally legal) copy of the game one day to play it myself.

Love 4.5 pvp but it hurts when you accidently get counterpicked navi-wise lol. Personally, Sanctuary hasn't been hassle to deal with in matches since alot of chips change panels. If anything, I'd change the code from S to something less juiced so it's not on code with like 3 really good SP navis.

A way to nerf Sanc: make it every panel. Sure that makes holy dream strong, but you also have to consider your opponent having holy panels Plus HolyDream needs good aim

Nice build! And yeah i find with the elemental powers they are kinda useless as you can chip charge for the same effect and yeah the clutter. In theory its nice but playing with them they feel pretty bad

I did enjoy it buddy although feel a little bad we went into this blind. Lol. Freeze definitely strong and nice in 4.5 though.

Yeah it's kinda weird that chaos unison basically makes light mega a better user of dark chips than darkmega. It gave lightmega a way to use dark chips, but not dark megana way to use souls? Seems like a big missed opportunity. I would have made it work for dark mega, and maybe even given it an extra turn, or an easier charge timing window. The whole concept was tradeoffs for power, but with this implementation, dark mega made all the sacrifice for light to gain all the benefits.

It still annoys me that they went through the effort of making Liberations a thing and then at the end of the game they're just kind of gone and you have to fight Nebula Grey like you would any other final boss.

Sword or Melee only Chip folder is pretty neat.
