Especially with liberation missions, it is nice to see attacks like this, moonblade, and Knightman's/Soul's charge shot that can be pretty good to use against enemies, especially if you have area or panel grab. (ESPECIALLY ESPECIALLY in the scenario where you're surrounded in a liberation mission.)
YESSSS! My favorite Battle Chip in the whole series! There is nothing more satisfying on a Team ProtoMan playthrough (The version you get HotBody2 R in) and pairing it with the BlackBomb R chip you get from the beginning of the game! Step back, throw bomb! Step forward twice, BOOM! On top of that, the use for it in Liberation Missions, holy moly, does it do wonders for surrounded conditions and just in general! To top it all off, though, there is no better chip for easily counter-hitting ShadeMan with! I adore this chip, man alive! :D
I've been replaying bn5 this week and getting HotBody1 on a chip trader around the start of the game has carried me so hard, especially on liberation missions. Everything does so little damage on this game so a 110 chip that can potentially triple delete on its own is huge, and if you panelgrab and place a rock cube its a guaranteed hit.
This chip definitely carried Meddy against those Dominerds in Liberation Mission 6. Its just cathartic to see a dominerd face slam to get burned. Also Panel Grab is a staple support during Liberation Missions for chip with adjacent AOE damage like this, Knightsoul and Moonblade.

Considering these liberation formats, it's not unthinkable they developed these chips and attacks BECAUSE of this.

It's very good for liberation missions. Especially if you are surrounded.
This chip can combo very well with the tomahawk soul because of the grass panel
