I had the odd experience of playing mostly sword folders for years not even realizing the potential of airhoc. Duo was not too bad but all the other Navis were hard for me.
Guess that’s why the presumably final boss of the MMBB fangame I’m playing has the hole panels behind the hitbox instead. (Shanghai.EXE , aka Touhou themed Battle Network)
The most underrated part of this chip series is all 4 of them come in * code so they're an easy way to put elemental variety in your folder no matter what else you're running
I like how many chip descriptions are widely useless but still go hard. Like HeatBreath with its "Magma firestorm attack!" Or WoodPowder is literally GrassStage.
Wood Powder and Blizzard are both really solid options for set-up with Aqua Soul and Wood Soul, and they're also the biggest damage dealers on top of that, with Wood Powder standing out for its ability to potentially multi-hit, not trigger flinching, AND confuse. It's weird that Heat Breath and especially Elec Shock get screwed over pretty hard in comparison. You can't even use ElemFire without Float Shoes, since Fire Soul will just absorb the lava.
Those chips are good, the best and more notable ones are the Blizzard + ElementIce with 2x for AquaSoul (and you can 2 hits on the opponent before they trigger I-frames) and woodpowder which doesn’t trigger I-frames at all. Using program advance like PoisonPharaoh can ignore I-frames completely and I believe it gets like 5 or 6 hits or something with ElementIce on Ice Panels. This is a good strategy if you want to beat ShadeMan Omega in less than 10 seconds.
Ah yes, the chip series that remind you Duo's hitbox is technically on a hole panel.
Duo aka "why a quarter of your chip library straight up doesn't work"
That was Pithockey for me. Duo was a Massive difficulty spike

@ChillstoneBlakeBlast This is why I need to remind myself to have a Duo Folder before fighting him starting Game 3 onwards.

WoodPowder, or "how to make your opponent immortal"
Bro thank you for making such an I’m dept channel about a game most ppl I thought forgot about. I’m so happy so see this game series popular again
1:36 WoodPowder in your Code say everything: W T F *
FireSoul actually heals 50 HP on Lava Panels and consumes them, so it can kind of serve as a Recover 200 in a pinch?
One of the coolest chip in BN4 imo

FloatShoes is the one that makes you immune to LavaPanels! *
Lava panels don't affect Air Shoes? Did you mean Float Shoes, or does BN4 not make the distinction?
1:19 It should be FloatShoes. Blue made a commentary mistake and called it AirShoes, he got mixed up with the wrong one lol. 😂
ah dang it, did i say air shoes?
yes i meant float shoes
@@BlueStarSixtyFour Whoops! Face palm moment brother.
Also appears on 4.5
Blizzard V+ElemIce V= win the game
those chips are solid and can be good for setup, the sad thing is they don't do much dmg
Wood Panel is easily the best one due to Fire Soul and Wood Soul and there are better Fire Chips than Elec Chips unlike BN3.
