When I was little, I always wanted a Cosmoman + Laserman P.A. It would be nuts if Laserman used his red laser while rocks fell from the ceiling, while these rocks crashing into the satelites making Megaman being hit directly by them. I was a really creatived kid back in the day lol
I knew about GyroMan's alternate chip effect from the Brady Games strategy guide, but said guide doesn't mention the obstacle thing for CosmoMan at all. (I just checked.)
@@Karxrida Gyro is double fucked up because the part where it scales relative to enemy panel both make perfect sense and super unintuitive and in BN5 PVE that specific trait pushes it to be the most broken mega in the game
How this chip works: It clears ALL objects around the center panel you're standing on. Then after 3 Meteors, it throws the cleared objects. These objects can be any object "element" chip, Time Bomb, Boy Bomb, Cube, Trumpy series, envoirmental boulders. THEN, it targets PLUS (+) shaped area on enemys side (corner panels are safe). This can't be modified by area grabs as far as I remember. Example: If you use a color/double point, it'll still target the same plus shape. If there are multiple targets with displayed HP value, the shots are split evenly among them DISREGARDING target death (more shots will hit even if the target died from previous shot).
This video made me remember the tactic I'd use where I had the SP version to use regular, and the DS chip to use in the PA. It's pretty neat, but I imagine I'm absolutely not the first to do this.
As for cosmoprison it is worth noting that the homing DOES NOT work if you stand in the column directly infront of your opponent. but if there is 1 colum of gap then it will function as described. (i used it alot in bn5)
CosmoMan auto-targets if you're on the same row? Kinda makes me wonder why it doesn't just auto-aim automatically in that case. Didn't know that about the obstacles! I'll have to make use of that!
I always found the way this chip a little confusing to mess with. It hits 3 spaces away from where you’re standing, but auto targets if you’re in the same row as your opponent. I feel like it would just be better if it just auto hits like element man does :p But it goes super well with the other chips in C-code
Did you ever cover dark soul? I remember in one of your vids you said something about making a video on it but I've been meaning to catch up on your vids. Great stuff btw.
Just found this in my reccomended and I gotta ask: do the collections have online PvP, and how is it if it does have it? Been meaning to get into this series because of my love for the Starforce series of games, and was wondering how alive it was. Probably the wrong video to ask.

‘C’ codes are okay. It does pair well with Navi chips like CloudMan & Colonel. And the giga chip Cross Divide.
This is probably, alongside Gyroman, the more "mechanically relevant" chip that the game just doesnt describe lol

Cosmoman targets the center 5 panels in a plus shape on the enemy field.
I always used the PA, it was the reason I had a C folder whenever I played BN5 pvp back in the day

Thank goodness xD I was very curious as to how it worked
I remember using the Program Advance a lot, but I never knew about the Taking objects from your side part of Cosmoman.
I had no idea that it sucked up objects on your side of the field! Always something new to learn in these games 😅
The PA is a must in C-folders.
Damn, about a week ago I was looking around your channel to see if you had a video on this chip. I must've sent my brain signals your way hahaha
this was supposed to come out last week but i’ve been sick lol
@@BlueStarSixtyFour I hope you're feeling better now!

Yeah, he already did Dark Soul for both BN4 and BN5
now i wanna try that PA, seems kinda cool
Doesnt hit the row, it hits a plus shape centered 3 panels in front

not sure how active it is on consoles with the legacy collection. but in PC there’s a thriving pvp community
@@BlueStarSixtyFour Sweet, just what I was looking for! Thank you so much, I hope to join soon!
