it IS in battle network 6, there is a patch cards that allows you to do Meteor3 on demand 🗿
It’s kinda funny that in BN3, Random Meteor actually isn’t random. It targets the panel your opponent is standing on.

Asteroids in BN3, are chips that you seem to get a ton of, but never seem to use.
BlueStar, pausing the game and then resuming it removes the cooldown period/chip lockout for most chips in most of the games. My younger brother and I found this while playing BN6 in 2008.

What's the difference between meteors and asteroids anyway?
Where they go. Asteroids, comets, and meteoroids stay in space, meteors enter a planet's atmosphere, meteorites reach the surface.
