On the other hand, the best audio/sounding BT headphones are the Sennheiser Momentum 4 release date August 2022 MSRP $349 and now on sale for $229 as $120 less. The Momentum 4 MDAQS rating is about equal to the Bose QC Ultra. Another thing: Momentum 4 just sounds better than Bose or Sony probably because of the 42mm dynamic drivers. The best affordable Bluetooth headphone which cost less of the 3 is Momentum 4. The quality is better than the Sony XM5 and just a small notch below the Bose QC Ultra. I own 2 sets of Momentum 4 headphones. Purchased Bose QC Ultra during this holiday period for trial/comparison for the last 3 weeks. Will be returning the QC Ultra because paying $100 more to get slightly better ANC and immersion/larger stage presence which don't really occur just not worth the money. Yes! ears get warmer with M4 but it compensates for individuals who wear eye glasses as in for comfort. You listen to different genre of music for pleasure as quality of audio makes it nice to listen to. As for BT headphones in this mid-level competition, the M4 has not been beaten or won over yet regarding sound. MDAQS: Scale of 1 to 5. 1 is Poor and 5 is Best. I saw your video today, the Bathys is 700€ and the PX8 420€, in my country. That makes it an easy decision for me🙂. I guess B&W is coming with a new headphone pretty soon.

How’s the build quality holding up ? Mine are to have issues with the headband coming undone like most.

When listening to this song with the px8 on my head, it sounds muffled through TH-cam. When playing the song on Spotify is sounds way clearer

The Focal Bathys sounds better

Sennheiser is another level. They are the artists of headphones.

The B&W s2's are on sale at Costco for $199. I bought 2, this is a no brainer.

The bass on the the Momentum 4 is peak, but everything else on the on the S2 is clreaer and much more defined while still having decent bass.

How is the bass on these?

For me personally the best looking headphone out there. The design is awesome. Still in doubt of buying the Px7 SE or the Px8.

very explanatory video! I listened with a momentum 3 and the difference in sound quality is much higher in the M4 vs xm5! Wednesday I get the M4 ordered on Amazon. If you've had the chance to test the M3s, please tell me if the M4s sound better than the already great M3s. Thank you very much.

What is name song?

I think i'm sold on the Sennheimer. Been hard on the study across the web for the best for both movies, games and music. Swinged in to xm4/xm5, bose qc ultra and sennheiser. It seems the Sennheiser has the better sound and i'm not travelling around much with headphones but it will fit perfectly to remove the sound from the pc fan, and create a more isolated movie experience with little to none outside noises.

Momentum has a richer sound

The AirPods sound good but the Momentum 4 brings a smile to my face

The senheissers are too bassy for my taste. It drowns some of the other detail in the song. I like the Max better. The bass is controlled and is not allowed to overtake other parts of the song.

As a 700 user, one major gripe is the design of retraction. The very act of retracting or extending the headphones cause scratches. So much so that they feel like they've been used for 5-6 years. So don't buy the chrome/white one to minimise that. Also this and the qc45 are to be used in non sweaty environments or be prepared to swap out the pads every 6-18 months depending on your salt levels. But I still stick to it more than my airpod max is the comfort. Both this and qc45 (my mom's) are headphones you can wear for hours. Unlike the airpod max.
