@@Darrell-f6l It would have to be in the Final Four as it looks now. Assuming both teams are there this year and some sleeper team doesn't knock out either one out in the NCAA Tournament which is entirely more then possible this year.

i think the team that looks the best on paper is UCLA but that have weakness as well that PG is a freshman but thus far E A seems really good. TBD

No full season vs 1/4 but was looking at last year as the base line and where they are at now. the numbers could climb or not. will be interesting to see. I did take a look with out the UCLA game and the numbers where not too much different as wondering if UCLA game was badly skewing things.

Well playing extended periods with LAST year Team without KC in a Tournament series of games is Much different then playing a few regulars season games. And please don't behave as if last year SC wasn't Deep, because they were. Since it was after all a Freshman that lit up Iowa. LOL.

I really think Dawn should have played Boston and KC together more in 2022-23

What planet were you living on when SC played UCLA? South Carolina not only lost, they never led in the entire game. That's called, getting their butts kicked.

@@VincentBaker-j1bif you notice, UCLA does not shoot as well as they did against SC. They were not guarding the perimeter well. But look at how they stopped a very good 3 point shooting team in Iowa state. Had SC adjust how they should’ve against UCLA, they could’ve won or at minimum kept it close.

@@Okayyouwin Iowa State is probably the most disappointing team in the country. Every time they've played a good team, they've been destroyed. I don't agree about South Carolina adjusting. South Carolina's biggest issue is missing Cardoso. They have nobody who can handle Betts one on one. Betts is an unselfish player who uses her height advantage to find(visually) open teammates. Whenever you double team a player, it means one of her teammates is open, and Betts is great at passing them the ball. Wide open shooters tend to have much higher shooting percentages.

Hi Danielle, thanks for that. I will do more of a breakdown of LSU when they get into SEC play as the schedule is so weak, I think it is hard to draw any conclusions. BTW - No shade, that is the way Mulkey does it and it works for her & you can't argue with her results.

Agree 100%, if Lay and Tessa come off the bench like last season, it will be tough for any team to beat South Carolina. Raven and Breezy are both shooting much better at their threes!

Do you care to make a wager on LSWHO vs SC. I got SC. LSWHO hasn’t played anyone who is in the top 10 in the nation. SC has a good team but they’ll get even better if they send Raven and Bree hall to the bench. I have UCLA winning it all but you never know what could happen. Upsets aren’t off the table come tournament time, but UCLA is the favorite to take it home

@shakimmthibou100 UCLA played SC at home. SC took UCLA for granted. In a neutral field, NCAA tournament time, I like SC. I agree LSU has a weak schedule,however, Kim Mulkey is one of the all-time great coaches who always have a talented roster. LSU is definitely under the radar. I don't trust UCLA,I may be taking them lightly. I have to see them play USC.

When will everyone get over the schedule thing? Mulkey is 41-7 in the SEC. She's been to 10 Elite 8's and has 4 NC. You people talk as if when LSU plays a top 10 they're going to get dog walked. for 1 year! why go to texas tech? that team is never gonna win a big 12 championship, let alone a national championship within the next 5 years! only reason for her to go to texas tech is to collect the $1 million she's asking. but i guess in these days of nil, that's all these kids care about. and actually she could stand to make another $1 million or more if she puts up good numbers her freshman year and then hits the transfer portal!!! on 2nd thought, maybe she knows exactly what she'd doing!!!

Close does well with internationals I like E arnasalo and I know it is highlights but looks like Bilic can shoot

@@back2sports Yeah. Aarnisalo has already been quite impressive for an 18 year old, and she will only get better. Hopefully, Bilic will be a good replacement for Dugalic. Dugalic has been a huge part of the reason UCLA is currently ranked #1. Dugalic has been outstanding this year, both on the glass and scoring wise.

Makeer said a lot of things about multiple schools, not just that. If it was about being close to home why transfer to Montverde? Also there is still plenty of time for official visits for Chavez, Dawn wants the very last one anyway. Don’t speak too soon let it play out and it’s conceivable that it’s up to who Dawn is willing to take and not the other way around.

@@Danielle0722 I don’t think a 1 million dollar NIL deal is part of the conversation with South Carolina or anyone else for that matter. Her brand is strong enough to make her way more than that wherever she goes anyway. I don’t believe everything I hear and to your point if it was about pay for play like that Dawn would have dropped out long ago. I think it’s a long shot with Chavez but I think her attending the TCU game front and center is a small sign of continued mutual interest. If she does do an official then look out. Makeer is a stronger possibility to me whether it actually happens or not. To me it’s going to come down to availability in the 2 deep. I’m speculating of course but that’s my take as anything can still happen at this point.
