I think Notre Dame has L written all over it for UConn. The game last year, first true road game, Hidalgo a bad match-up, Citron the perfect defender for Bueckers. That spells trouble for UConn. But this is a meaningless regular season game. And UConn should learn where they are at in that game. Louisville is less interesting to me. But they are athletic. And UConn is not. Also, how will UConn do on the boards against them. Can UConn shoot well behind the arc? I want the answers to those questions.
I'm interested in seeing how El Alfy progresses. Sometimes she just looks super dominant and focused. Shes gotta work om her temper though😂😂 i noticed she got a foul call and then was swearing lol
I hope you had a great vacation! I'm looking forward to the UConn-N.D. game. ND has possibly the best back court duo in WCB, but their incredibly short bench will come back to haunt them against UConn, IMHO. Curious to hear your thoughts on the looming showdown. ...As for Louisville, they're a good team, but I just don't think they have the horses to overcome UConn.
@@Mr.SCbredGullahaccent I'm not predicting who will play in the NCAA women's championship. UConn plays ND on December 12th. That's the game I'm referring to.
@@Mr.SCbredGullahaccent I'm not predicting who will play in the NCAA women's championship. I'm referring to the UConn-ND game on December 12th. I'm not an Irish fan, but I believe in giving credit where it's due, and they have a great back court.
I agree with your sentiments on WNBA expansion draft. However, Zandilsini was not in the Lynx starting rotation. She always came off the bench. On to UCONN, Back to Sports, I still don’t really trust Ice Brady. She still seems rather shaky. I wouldn’t be surprised if Morgan Cheli really gives her a run for her starting spot later in the season. No real comments on Louisville game until after its completion.
I meant.playing.rotation - she was in C Reeve's 7-8 player rotation in playoffs where Miller could not get any minutes after her return from injury. Yep just not real sure about Ice - could see Morgan C stealing minutes from her as season goes along. I still think el Alfy development is the key
Agree with your take om El Alfy---she's a better post defender and they'll need her for the post-season. She oughtta be getting more minutes. Nice reference to 4 factors, that goes way back to Dean Oliver's Basketball on Paper. Disagree with the Lynx move, Zandalasini is more athletic than Carleton, rebounds better and gets to the FT line more often. Diamond Miller isn't skilled and gets lost. Protecting her looks like a purely political play; protect the American collegiate "star" and let the European go. That move is going to make it difficult for the league to attract international players. And surprising from Reeve who complained about the way the Finals played out. Keep up the good work and, good gosh, I'm probably gonna catch some "poison". 🙂
Might have missed Paige Bueckers obvious non-mentioning in your UConn assessment. Was that a deflection or can you clean that up? This month will get a better evaluation of UConn playing ranked or better teams. Louisville's schedule is way better than UConn (UCLA. Okla, Ky). Louisville's Cochran surely with test UConn post players. Louisville win will not be an upset in my opinion.
PB is good. Sorry I did not mention that in video. However not in Louisville game but they still crushed them 30 pts. Ice held up to cochrain - Louisville was shooting rocks at basket
Must admit my bias deceived me thought Louisville's Cochran would have better chance against UConn less experience post players, but obviously that did not happen. UConn overwhelming talent even allowed Geno to play his bench against a rank team. Wow! Sidebar; I am not a UConn fan, but empathy goes out to Azzi Fudd pulling for her. ooops! Did we forget to mention PB again?
Latson, from Florida State, has attempted more free throws that the entire UConn team. She has attempted 60, count them 60 more free throws than Bueckers in 2 more games. So, if Paige can get 30 each against Louisville and ND they will be even. Waston, Hidalgo, and Irafen, have each taken at least 30 more free throws than Bueckers. I've compared the stats of Bueckers, Hidalgo, Watson, Iriafen, Latson, Strong, and Miles. They are very revealing. Give them a look if you get a chance, but the Free Throws jump right off the page at you.
Latson taken: 53 shot in paint 70 shots at rim 8.9 ft per game (Harden lol) UConn 116 shots in paint 65 shots at rim 9.1 ft per game PB 26 shots in paint 14 shots at rim 2.9 ft per game JW 29 in paint 23 at rim 7.1 ft per game Kiki I 17 in paint 55 at rim 6.3 ft per game HH 35 in paint 50 at rim 6.6 ft per game Miles 13 in paint 27 at rim 3.3 ft per game
UConn conference is nothing but practice games - UCONN only playing two contenders non conference - bored fans why show up? Geno avoids competition successfully forty years!!!
The big east sucks. WCB does not wag the dog or decide what conference they are in. Their non conference schedule ole miss, Louisville , UNC, ND, Iowa State, USC, & SC . That seems pretty good to me.
Nah UConn plays all the best non conference games out of all ranked teams. Now if you said LSU I'd agree. They're over there playing southern community Baptist college😂😂
Keep up your good work.
Appreciate that. Cheers
it's easy for UCONN W Sarah Strong to hone her skills against sub 300 RPI teams
I think she might be pretty good be we will soon find out.
She looked strong against UNC and Louisville. Both ranked teams
I would like more rebounds from Ice. Definitely.

Slow and steady. Will be fun milestone - much like when Geno passed Tara LOL
